NIC Issued List of GSTNs Generating IRN The National Informatics Centre (“NIC”) has issued a list of GST Numbers who are generating IRN. There are 144647 GSTNs which are listed through the NIC to which it is compulsory for the assessee to upload the invoice information and enroll the supply transaction on the portal of the government invoice enrollment. E-invoicing, often known as "electronic invoicing," is a method in which a taxpayer uploads his invoice data and registers his supply transaction on the Government Invoice Registration Portal (IRP), where the IRP system generates an Invoice Reference Number (IRN).
