NILERD Recruitment 2023 for Various Posts: Check Vacancies, Eligibility and How to Apply
NILERD Recruitment 2023: National Institute of Labour Economics Research and Development (NILERD) is inviting applications from eligible and experienced professionals for the post of Director, Joint Director, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director on a Contract and deputation basis. As per the NILERD Recruitment notification, there are 20 vacancies for this post.
The candidate will be appointed for a period of 03 years which can be expendable up to 5 years. The maximum age for retired Govt. servants is 65 years. Candidates applying for the post of director on a contract basis should have a Master’s degree in Economics / Development Studies/ Statistics/ Engineering or Technology/ Business Management or any of the areas in Social Sciences from a recognized University. Candidate must have Minimum 12 years’ post qualification (i.e. Masters’s Degree) experience in research or teaching at a supervisory level in Govt./ University/ Autonomous Bodies/ reputed research institution in any of the areas namely; sustainable development / structural reforms/monitoring and evaluation of policy, program/ Statistics /Econometrics/ Labour Economics/ Industrial Economics/ Economics of Health /Education/Rural Development, etc. The candidate should have Published work of high quality.
Candidate having a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in a relevant subject/ field and Practical experience in handling consultancy research projects in any field relevant to structural reforms, sustainable development, economic growth, human development, manpower planning, or development of information systems and data bank. Experience in using Econometric/ Statistical software like SPSS etc will be desirable.
Candidates applying for the post of director on a Deputation basis should have Officers of Central/State Govt./University/Autonomous Bodies/Research Institutions:
(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis
(ii) with 5 years regular service in the pay level-12 of Rs.78800-209200 and possessing qualification
(iii) with 8 years of regular service in the pay level -11 of Rs. 67700-208700; and experience mentioned above.
Candidates applying for the post of Joint Director post on a contractual basis should have a Master’s Degree in Economics/Development Studies/ Statistics/ Engineering or Technology/ Business Management or any of the areas in Social Sciences from a recognized University. (iii) with 8 years of regular service in the pay level -10 of Rs. 56100-177500 and possessing qualification and experience prescribed for contractual appointment as above.

Director – Minimum 35 and Maximum 57 years.
Joint Director– Minimum 30 and Maximum 50 years.
Deputy Director– Minimum 26 and Maximum 40 years.
Assistant Director– Minimum 26 and Maximum 35 years.

Director – Rs. 2.20 lakh
Joint Director – Rs. 1.45 Lakh
Deputy Director- Rs. 1.25 Lakh.
Assistant Director – Rs. 1.05 lakh
