NIT Jamshedpur Recruitment 2023: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur is seeking applications from eligible and desirous candidates for the post of Assistant Registrar, Senior Assistant, Senior Technician, Technician and Junior Assistant. In accordance with the official notification of NIT Jamshedpur Recruitment 2023, there are 18 openings to be filled for the given posts. The selected candidates will be provided a monthly salary up to Rs.56100. The minimum age limit is up to 27 years and the maximum age limit is up to 37 years to apply for the mentioned posts.
As stated in the official notification of NIT Jamshedpur Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be chosen based on a computer-based test, a skill test, an interview, and the physical verification of their documentation. NTA will notify candidates via its website of the admit card, CBT date, time, and location. Candidates may participate in the test on a temporary basis. As given in the official notification of NIT Jamshedpur Recruitment 2023, eligible candidates can apply online through the official website on or before the last date. The other mode of application will not be accepted. The application fee is Rs.1000 for General/OBC-NCL candidates and Rs.500 for EWS/SC/ST/PwBD candidates. For Assistant Registrar-
Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade in the CGPA/ UGC point scale with a good academic record from a recognized University / Institute. OR
Employees serving as Superintendent (SG-I) / Private Secretary (NFG) in PB-2, GP of Rs.5400/- with at least two years regular service or Superintendent (SG-II) / Private Secretary (NFG) in PB-2 GP of Rs.4800/- with at least five years regular service with Master’s degree.
Desirable-
Qualification in the area of Management / Engineering / Law.
Experience working in E-Office systems.
A Chartered or Cost Accountant for the post of Assistant Registrar (Finance and Accounts).
For Senior Assistant-
Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
Desirable-
Proficiency in other computer skills and stenography skills.
Senior secondary (10+2) with Science from a recognized board with at least 60% marks. OR
Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade. OR
Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade. OR
Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in a relevant field from a recognized Polytechnic Institute.
Desirable-
Bachelor’s degree.
For Junior Assistant-
Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
Desirable-
Proficiency in other computer skills; stenography skills.
For Technician-
Senior secondary (10+2) with Science from a Government recognized board with at least 60% marks. OR
Senior secondary (10+2) from a Government recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade. OR
Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade. OR

Selection Process for NIT Jamshedpur Recruitment 2023:
As mentioned in the official notification of NIT Jamshedpur Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of a Computer Based Test/Skill Test/Interview and Physical Document Verification. The admit card, date, time, and place of CBT will be communicated by NTA through its website. Candidates will be allowed to appear in the test provisionally.
