NIT Uttarakhand Recruitment 2023: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Uttarakhand is hiring for the post of Consultant (Procurement), Consultant (Audit), Consultant (Construction), and Consultant (Training & Placement). It is inviting Indian Nationals Retired from IITs, NITs, IIMs, other Centrally Funded Institutions, Central/State Government Offices, PSUs, PSBs, MNCs, etc. As per the official notification of NIT Uttarakhand recruitment 2023, the age limit for all following positions is up to 70 years. Candidates will be allowed to be paid for transportation allowance, along with a fixed amount of remuneration.

As per the official recruitment 2023 advertisement of NIT Uttarakhand, Indian National Retired candidates are being hired for the designations of Consultant (Procurement), Consultant (Audit), Consultant (Construction), and Consultant (Training & Placement). The total number of vacancies is four.
As per the NIT Uttarakhand recruitment 2023 Notification, candidates will be selected based on experience and qualifications given in below details:
For Consultant (Procurement)
A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute. He/she must possess at least 10-15 years of administrative experience in the NITs/IITs/IIMs/Other Centrally funded Institutions, Central/State Govt. Offices, PSUs, PSBs, MNCs, etc.
For Consultant (Audit)
A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10-15 years of administrative experience in the NITs/IITs/IIMs/Other Centrally funded Institutions, Central/State Govt. Offices, PSUs, PSBs, MNCs, etc. He/she must have an experience in Audit & accounting, financial matters, PFMS, Govt. financial management system is required.
For Consultant (Construction)
A candidate must carry a B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 20 years of experience in construction projects of repute and should have worked as Head (Civil works/GM (Civil) in Central PSU or SE in Central /State Government. Experience in handling Mega Building projects from the planning stage to commissioning including taking statutory approvals, Environmental clearance and directly running with the Architects, Engineers & Agencies is mandated.
For Consultant (Training & Placement)
An applicant must have B.E./B.Tech. or an MBA Degree or a relevant field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 on 10 point scale). He/she must have at least 5-10 years of significant and proven experience in Campus Placement in the NITs/IITs/IIMs/Other Centrally funded Institutions, or Corporate relations, public relations, Career/manpower development, and training in Central Govt. Offices, PSUs, PSBs, MNCs, etc.

According to the NIT Uttarakhand recruitment 2023 official notification, a job holder will work on the following criteria:
For Consultant (Procurement)
An applicant will report Director/Registrar only. He/she will perform on duties related to all procurement matters viz. tendering through GeM, eProcurement portal, execution and contract management under the GFR-2017 norms.
For Consultant (Audit)
A candidate will perform on duties related to all financial matters viz. Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Fund Management, all Income Tax, Sales Tax, GST-related compliances, etc.
For Consultant (Construction)
As a consultant (Contruction), the candidate will audit construction work. He/she will assist arbitrations related to constructions work. And If the situation demands he/she must be prepared to work on Holidays for the functioning of his/her duties. Consultant (Construction) will report to Dean (Planning & Development.
For Consultant (Training & Placement)
Candidates will work closely and maintain cordial relationships with faculty, staff and students associated with T&P Section. He or she will coordinate the campus placement and interview conduction process at the Institute under the guidance of faculty members related to T&P Section. And If the situation demands, he/she must be prepared to work on Holidays and Saturdays/Sundays for the official activities as per the Institute norms.
