NTPC Recruitment 2023: National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Diploma Trainee and ITI Trainees / Asst Material/(Storekeeper) Trainees. According to the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the total number of vacancies is 40 to be placed under Eastern Region-II of NTPC Ltd. Candidates will be hired for Bongaigaon Thermal Power Station, Distt: Kokrajhar, Assam. Candidates selected for Diploma Trainee will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 24,000/-, whereas those chosen for Artisan Trainee/ Asst Material/Storekeeper Trainee will be paid Rs. 21,500/-. The candidate’s maximum age shall not be more than 38 years old as of the closing date of the online application. The upper age restriction is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST applicants, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for PwBD-General/EWS.
According to the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected among permanent residents of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), which includes the Assam districts of Kokrajhar, Baksa, Chirang, and Udalguri. Desired and eligible candidates must apply online only using the NTPC’s online registration system. The online registration is operational from August 23, 2023, until September 15, 2023. Applicants will be selected for Diploma Trainee through a two-stage online test. The first stage will consist of a qualifying Aptitude Test consisting of 120 questions encompassing General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The second stage (Technical Test) consists of 120 questions in the respective discipline. The location of the test centre will be disclosed to applicants after the admit card is issued. Candidates from the reserved categories must produce a valid certificate issued by the relevant authorities in the latest format approved by the Government of India.

According to the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s maximum age shall not be more than 38 years old as of the closing date of the online application. According to the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, candidates should possess the following eligiblities.
For Electrical
The candidates should have a full-time regular Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum 60% marks.
For Mechanical
The candidates should have a full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering with a minimum 60% marks.
For Asst Material/(Storekeeper) Trainee
Candidates must have an Xth pass plus a full-time regular ITI course (recognised by NCVT/SCVT) in (Fitter/ Electrician/ Electronics/ Instrument Mechanic) + English Typing 30 words per minute/150 keystrokes per minute.
