NTPC Recruitment 2023:NTPC Mining Limited is seeking online applications from qualified and appropriate candidates for the post of Mine Overman, Magzine Incharge, Mechanical Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, Vocational Training Instructor, Mining Sirdar and Junior Mine Surveyor. As per the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary up to Rs.50000. Candidates should have a maximum age of up to 40 years to apply for the given posts. The appointment is made for an initial period of 03 years and is extendable up to 02 years based on organizational requirements.
Based on the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, there are 114 vacant seats available for the mentioned posts. The candidate should have a Full-time regular Diploma in relevant fields. The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test followed by a Skill/Competency Test. Test Centres will be Ranchi, Jharkhand. The application fee is Rs.300. The payment will be made online as well as offline mode. As stated in the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, candidates who are eligible and interested have to complete their online application through the official website of NTPC on or before the specified date. Age Limit for NTPC Recruitment 2023:
The age criteria for applying to NTPC Recruitment 2023 are listed below-
The maximum age limit is 40 years to apply for the post of Vocational Training Instructor.
The maximum age limit is 30 years to apply for the post of Mine Overman, Magzine Incharge, Mechanical Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, Mining Sirdar and Junior Mine Surveyor.
As per the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary as mentioned below-
The selected candidates for the post of Mine Overman, Magzine Incharge, Mechanical Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, Vocational Training Instructor and Junior Mine Surveyor will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.50000.
The selected candidates for the post of Mining Sirdar will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.40000.
Qualification for NTPC Recruitment 2023:
Candidate must have the required qualifications to apply for NTPC Recruitment 2023 as given below-
For Mine Overman and Magzine Incharge-
The applicant must have a Full-time regular Diploma in Mining from an Institute of repute with a minimum of 60% (For SC/ ST minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks) and an Overman Certificate of Competency under CMR from DGMS for coal. Valid First Aid Certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS.
For Mechanical Supervisor-
The applicant must have a Full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering from an Institute of repute with a minimum of 60% (For SC/ST – the minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks).
For Electrical Supervisor-
The candidate should have a Full-time regular diploma in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an Institute of repute with a minimum of 60% (For SC/ ST – minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks) and have a valid Electrical Supervisor certificate of competency covering mining installations issued by appropriate Government.
For Vocational Training Instructor-
The candidate should have a Diploma in Mining/Electrical/Mechanical from an institute recognized by the Central Government with a minimum 60% (For SC/ST – minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks) and a Valid Overman / Foreman certificate of competency from DGMS (Restricted/Unrestricted). Valid First Aid Certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS. Minimum 5 years of working experience in mines and not less than 30 years of age.
For Junior Mine Surveyor-
The applicant must have a Full-time regular Diploma in Mine Survey / Diploma in Mining Engineering Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying / Diploma in Civil from an Institute of repute with a minimum of 60% (For SC/ ST – minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks) with Survey Certificate issued by DGMS.
For Mining Sirdar-
The candidate should have a Matric 10th pass from Govt recognised Board, with a valid Mining Sirdar certificate of competency issued by DGMS for coal and a Valid First Aid certificate issued with a minimum of 60% (For SC/ST – minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks).
The selection of NTPC Recruitment 2023 will be determined on the basis of a written test followed by a Skill/Competency Test. Both the 1st and 2nd Stage Tests will be conducted at Test Centres in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The address of the venue will be notified through the admit card.
Written Test- In the first stage, a Written Test of a Total of 100 marks, comprising multiple-choice questions, covering relevant subjects/disciplines, will be conducted. The duration of the Test will be up to 120 minutes. Each question will carry 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The qualifying marks are 40% marks in the case of the General/EWS category and 30% in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. The candidates will be shortlisted at an approved call ratio for 2nd stage Test.
2nd Stage– Skill / Competency Test– In the 2nd stage, a Skill / Competency Test of a total of 100 marks in the respective discipline will be conducted. The qualifying marks are 40% marks in the case of the General/EWS category and 30% in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates.
The candidates shall be selected on the basis of merit in the Written Test, subject to the condition that the candidate qualifies in the Skill / Competence Test.
Application Procedure for NTPC Recruitment 2023:
Candidates have to pay Rs.300 as an application fee for applying to NTPC Recruitment 2023.State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application fee, in a specially opened account (A/C No. 30987919993) at the CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC and payment will be made online also (through Net banking / Debit Card / Credit Card). The online payment option will be available in the online application form.
In order to apply for NTPC Recruitment 2023, desirous and willing candidates can apply online through the official website of NTPC on or before the last date. No other mode of application will be accepted.
