The selected candidates will get the pay scale of Pay Matrix of Rs.56100 to Rs.177500 (Level EE-2) with Initial Basic Pay of Rs.56100 after completing the one-year training period.

Candidates should have a Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution or Passing of Section-A&B of IE (India) in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

As mentioned in the Official notification of OPTCL Recruitment 2023, selected candidates will be required to execute a service bond in prescribed format to successfully complete the training period and thereafter serve the organization for at least three years. The amount of the bond is INR 300000 plus GST as applicable for all categories of candidates.
In accordance with the official notification of OPTCL Recruitment 2023, Selected candidates have to undergo training for 01 year at field units of OPTCL including induction training at Power Training Centre (PTC), Chandaka, Bhubaneswar. The training period will be for 01 year unless otherwise extended further.
