Shri Narendra Modi posted on the platform 'X', where he said that in his 79th Independence Day speech, he spoke about soon to bring Next-Generation GST reforms, aimed at ease of living for the common man and strengthening the economy. Keeping this in mind, the Union Government prepared a detailed list of proposals for broad-based GST rate rationalisation and process reforms. Now, the prime minister is blissful that the GST council, including the Union and State, have collectively agreed to the proposed GST rate cuts and reforms by the Union Government. These GST reforms will benefit the common man, farmers, MSMEs, the middle class, women and youth. These rationalisations will ease the lives of Indian dwellers and will ease the establishment of businesses in the country, especially for small traders and businesses.
