The POWERGRID Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement No. 20/2023 issued, notified 01 Vacancy for Chairman & Managing Director Post (occurring on 01.01.2024 ) shall be filled up with Appointment of a Suitable Professional in the Pay Scale Rs. 200000-370000 Per Month (IDA) in Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. The PESB issued POWERGRID Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has in store with PGCIL Chairman & Managing Director Post on a 05 (Five) Years’ Fixed Term Basis.

Pay Scale: Rs. 200000 -370000 Per Month (IDA)
Note: The Minimum Length of Services essential in the Eligible Pay Scale for the CMD Post is 02 (Two) Years in respect of the Internal Candidates, and 03 (Three) Years for Others (External) as on 01.01.2024
According to the POWERGRID Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limits stipulated for Internal and External Candidates are explained hereunder:
Superannuation Age Limit: 60 Years (As on the VOD 01.01.2024)
A) Internal Candidates: Minimum 45 Years (and Maximum 02-Years’ Residual Service (as on the Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy) with reference to the Date of Superannuation.
B) Other Candidates: Minimum 45 Years (and Maximum 03-Years’ Residual Service (as per the Vacancy Occurrence Date) with regard to the Superannuation Date.

Experience: The Applicant should have in possession Cumulative Experience/Exposure for Minimum 05 Years during Last 10 Years in Finance/ Business Development/Production/Operations/Marketing/ Project Management in any large Organization of Repute.
Desirable: Experience in Power Sector.

Appointment Tenure: Post-Selection Appointment the Incumbent’s Tenure as Chairman & Managing Director shall remain 05 (Five) Years from the Date of Joining/up to the Date of Superannuation/until further Government Orders, Whichever be Earlier to be read in the POWERGRID Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
