Pay Scale under POWERGRID Recruitment 2023:

The POWERGRID Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, post-Selection of any Appropriately Suitable Personnel on the CMD Post provides for the Monthly Pay and Allowances to be read hereunder:

Pay Scale: Rs. 200000 -370000 Per Month (IDA)

Note: The Minimum Length of Services essential in the Eligible Pay Scale for the CMD Post is 02 (Two) Years in respect of the Internal Candidates, and  03 (Three) Years for Others (External) as on 01.01.2024

Age Limits for POWERGRID Recruitment 2023:

According to the POWERGRID Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limits stipulated for Internal and External Candidates are explained  hereunder:

Superannuation Age Limit: 60 Years (As on the VOD 01.01.2024)

A) Internal Candidates: Minimum 45 Years (and Maximum 02-Years’ Residual Service (as on the Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy) with reference to the Date of Superannuation.

B) Other Candidates: Minimum 45 Years (and Maximum 03-Years’ Residual Service (as per the Vacancy Occurrence Date) with regard to the  Superannuation Date.

Eligibility Criteria for POWERGRID Recruitment 2023:

Essential Educational Qualification: The Applicant should be Engineering Graduate/Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/Post Graduate/ Graduate with MBA/PGDIM from any Leading Institute.

Experience: The Applicant should have in possession Cumulative Experience/Exposure for Minimum 05 Years during Last 10 Years in Finance/ Business Development/Production/Operations/Marketing/ Project Management in any large Organization of Repute.

Desirable: Experience in Power Sector.

Note 1: Eligible Applicants, who in the event of Selection for the CMD Post, may be spared for Appointment, should apply through the “Proper Channel”.

For Appointment on Chairman & Managing Director Post, the Public Enterprises Selection Board will accord Due Preference to the Candidates serving or having rendered Services in any of the Listed Companies narrated in the POWERGRID Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notification.

Appointment Tenure: Post-Selection Appointment the Incumbent’s Tenure as Chairman & Managing Director shall remain 05 (Five) Years from the Date of Joining/up to the Date of Superannuation/until further Government Orders, Whichever be Earlier to be read in the POWERGRID Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
