RBI has extended the application date of engagement of the Bank’s Medical consultants (BMC) Dehradun, The RBI has issued a new date for submitting the Bank’s Medical consultants (BMC), which has been 11th November 2022 till 1700 hours. As per the last notice, the last date of submitting the form of BMC was 4th November 2022 till 1700 hours.

RBI has released the notification on 22nd October 2022 about the post of bank medical consultant on a contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration for the dispensary of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The selection for BMC will be held on an interview basis. There will be no written examination for the mentioned post. Candidates who are eligible for the required criteria can apply for the post.

Criteria required for the BMC application.

RBI have released the notification on 22nd October 2022 which has mentioned the eligibility criteria for candidates applying for BMC. Mention below is the criteria required for the same.

1. The applicant should possess MBBS degree of any university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the allopathic system of medicine.
2. Applicants having post graduate degree in General Medicine can also apply for the post.
3. The applicant should have a minimum of 02 (two) years of experience practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic as Medical Practitioner.
4. The applicants should have his/her dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 3-5 Kms from the Bank’s dispensary at the current location and after the shifting of Office premises at new location.
5. The remuneration of the Bank’s Medical Consultant on contract basis will be fixed throughout the period of contract with reference to the actual duty hours performed and will be all inclusive.
6. The contract of engagement will be for a period of three years. There will not be any renewal of engagement on completion of the contract. However, eligible candidates can re-apply for the captioned post.
7. The rate of remuneration and the indicative duty hours is tabulated below:-

1. The Bank reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time and alter the duty hours and location of dispensary at its discretion, in case it becomes expedient to suit administrative and operative requirements. Accordingly, the selected candidate may have to attend dispensaries/s of the Bank besides those mentioned above. The total number of hours may be increased to 30 hours (maximum) in a week in case of requirement of the Bank.
2. Interested and eligible candidates may submit an application in the prescribed format as at Annex-3. The application should be sent in a cover superscripted as “Application for the post of Bank’s Medical Consultant on Contract Basis with fixed hourly remuneration”

Selection process for BMC.

(i) The Reserve Bank of India, Dehradun will conduct an interview for selection of one Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration.

(ii) Selection will be made through interview of eligible candidates. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards etc. in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. The Bank will not entertain any correspondence with the applicants who have not been called for the interview.

(iii) The shortlisted applicant/s after interview will be subjected to medical tests as per prescribed norms before engagement as Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC).

(iv) Candidates selected for the post will be engaged on contract basis subject to their being found medically fit and acceptance of Terms and Conditions as per Annex-1 and Code of Conduct as per Annex-2.

(v) The selected applicant has to sign an contract agreement with the Bank before engagement as the Bank’s Medical Consultant on a contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration.
