RBI Recruitment 2024: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is inviting applications from interested and suitable candidates for the post of Part-time Bank’s Medical Consultant on a contract basis. The applicant’s engagement will be for a period of three years. There will not be any renewal of engagement on completion of the Contract. Selection will be made through interview of eligible candidates. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. The shortlisted applicant/s after the interview will be subjected to medical tests as per prescribed norms before engagement as the Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC). There is only 01 vacant seat available in RBI Recruitment 2024.
The applicant must have an MBBS degree from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the allopathic system of medicine. As mentioned in the official notification of RBI Recruitment 2024, Applicants having postgraduate degrees in General Medicine can also apply. The applicants should have a minimum of two (02) years of experience practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic. candidates who have the mentioned eligibility can send their application form along with the required documents to the address given in the article on or before the closing date. Application received after the closing date will not be entertained.

The engagement is made on a contract basis and the selected candidates for RBI Recruitment 2024 will be hired for a period of 03 years. There will not be any renewal of engagement on completion of the Contract.
The chosen candidates for RBI Recruitment 2024 have to attend the Bank’s Office dispensary located at RBI Dispensary, Main Office Premises, (Annex Building) Reserve Bank of India, Station Road, Panbazar, Guwahati, Assam – 781001 and at Reserve Bank of India Officer’s Colony, G.S. Road, Christian Basti, Guwahati – 781005.
As mentioned in the official notification of RBI Recruitment 2024, the selection will be determined on the basis of an interview. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards etc. in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final.
The shortlisted applicant/s after the interview will be called for medical tests as per prescribed norms before engagement as the Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC).
Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements as given in the official notification of RBI Recruitment 2024 may fill out the application form attached to the official notification and submit the same duly filled application form along with the necessary documents to the address given below. The application should be sent in a sealed cover super scribed as – “Application for the Post of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on Contract Basis with Fixed Hourly Remuneration”.
