ROC Patna Imposes Penalty for Non-Filing of FY22 Annual Return
The Registrar of Companies (ROC), Patna, imposed a penalty on Triumfina Sales and Services Private Limited and its officers in default for not filing the required annual return.
A complaint was received by the office stating that Triumfina Sales and Services Private Limited did not file its annual return for the financial year 2021-2022. According to the MCA portal, the company was established on December 11, 2017, and it has failed to submit the required annual return for that year.
The office also issued a notice for e-adjudication on September 26, 2025, regarding the same. A hearing was scheduled for January 6, 2026, and later rescheduled to January 21, 2026. However, no one appeared on either of the scheduled dates.
ROC observed that as of now, the Annual Return for the financial year ending March 31, 2022, has still not been filed. Therefore, it appears that the company and its directors have violated the provisions of Section 92 of the Companies Act, 2013, which requires every company to file its annual return with the MCA.
As a result, ROC imposed a Rs 64,750 penalty on the company and Rs 25,000 each on its officers in default.
