RPSC Recruitment 2022: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has invited Applications from Candidates fulfilling the Eligibility for the Post of Assistant Town Planner (ATP) in the Department of Town Planning (DTP).

The Eligible Candidates from amongst the Candidates, deemed to have met the Eligibility Criteria for the Asstt Town Planner Post in the Town Planning Department (TPD) and intend to submit their respective Candidacy for the RPSC notified Assistant Town Planner Position may apply the following Instructions explained in the Rajasthan Public Service Commission Recruitment Advertisement for Assistant Town Planner Position in the Town Planning Department.

Modality of Applying: The Candidates Eligible in all respects, should apply with Scanned Signatures, Most Recent Photograph(s), Certificates pertaining to Education, Experience, Domicile Proof, etc. including the Examination Fee altogether receivable Before or On 09.11.2022, the Last Date.

Selection Process: Selection to the Post Assistant Town Planner will comprise 02 Stages; i.e., Stage I: a Common Computer-Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) with 150 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type for a Maximum of 150 Marks and a Personal Interview (Stage II), yielding Final Merit List based on the Marks in both Selection Phases.

RPSC Assistant Town Planner (CBRT) Examination Scheme 2022

Examination Mode: Computer-Based Recruitment Test (CBRT)

Exam Duration: 2½ Hours (150 Minutes)

Rajasthan Public Service Commission shall host a Computer Based Recruitment Test for Assistant Town Planners. The Computer Based Recruitment Examination comprises 02 Parts with a Total 150 (Part A: 40 + Part B: 110) Objective-Type MCQs for Total of 150 Marks involving a Negative Marking @ ¹/₃^rd or (0.33) Mark for each Incorrect Response or Multiple Answers.

Part-A: General Knowledge of Rajasthan: 40 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions = 40 Marks AND Part-B: Concerned Subject: 110 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type = 110 Marks

Educational Qualification: Eligible Candidates should have in possession the following Qualification(s):

i) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil)/Architecture/Planning with Post-Graduate Degree in Urban/City/Regional Planning/Traffic and Transportation Planning; Or a Master’s Degree (M.Tech.) in Planning/ Master of Planning(M.Plan.) (Urban/Regional/Traffic and Transport/ Environment) Or Equivalent thereto from any Duly Recognized University or Institution.

Or

A Bachelor’s Degree in Planning/Architecture from any Duly Recognised Institute/University established by Law in India with 02 Years’ Working Experience in the field of Town Planning.

ii) Working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script and Knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

Age Limit: General Merit Candidates should be Minimum 20 Years and should not Exceed (Maximum) 40 Years. The Upper Age Limits are relaxable for Reserved Community Candidates.

v) SCs/STs under Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) Area Inhabiting SCs/ST and Sahariya Primitives under all Tehsils of District Baran: Rs.150.00
