The Sports Authority of India (SAI) will shortlist candidates in a ratio of 1:5 based on the following evaluation criteria:

Evaluation Criteria (Total Marks-100)

Essential Qualification (maximum 30 Marks)

• Greater or equal to 75% – 30 marks
• 60% to less than 75% – 20 marks
• 45% to less than 60% – 10 marks

Work Experience (maximum 20 marks)

• 2 years and above – 20 marks
• 1 year to less than 2 years – 15 marks
• 6 months to less than 1 year – 10 marks
• Less than 6 months – 0 marks

Work Experience in the Sports Sector (maximum 20 marks)

• 2 years and above – 20 marks
• 1 year to less than 2 years – 15 marks

Work Experience in Government Sector/PSU (maximum 10 marks)

Interview Process

The final selection of candidates for the Manager (Athlete Relations) position will be based on an interview by a committee, which will carry a weightage of 100 marks. The shortlisted candidates will be evaluated on their knowledge of the performance parameters of athletes, experience in the relevant field and knowledge of relevant athletes, understanding of results and competition formats, knowledge of office and research tools, and communication and analytical skills.

A panel of final shortlisted candidates in the ratio of 1:2 will be formed on the basis of merit, which will be valid for a period of 1 year from its notification. The candidates must produce all the original documents at the time of physical joining for verification, failing which their candidature may be canceled. The interview process does not confirm the final selection, and only those candidates who score more than 70% marks in the interview will be considered for empanelment. If a candidate in the lower rank in the merit panel is awarded a higher salary as per the decision of the Interview Committee panel (or at a later stage upon request, if found justified), all candidates above will be granted the same pay.

Age Limit for SAI Recruitment 2023:
