SAIL Recruitment 2023: The Ispat General Hospital (IGH) in Rourkela is offering training programmes for underprivileged candidates of Sundargarh District and other districts of Odisha State. These training programs are designed to enhance the skills and employability of the candidates, and the period of training is one year. As per SAIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the training programmes are conducted on a stipend basis, and the selection process is subject to medical fitness as per the rules of the Company. The candidates who have undergone similar training programmes at IGH earlier are not eligible for the second tenure. The main objective of this training programme is to provide an opportunity for underprivileged candidates to enhance their skills and improve their employability.
As per SAIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the training programmes are available for the following areas: nursing, laboratory technician, X-Ray technician, ECG technician, and Dialysis technician. The candidates belonging to the direct impact zones of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) will be given preference. The direct impact zones include Bisra Block, Kuarmunda Block, Nuagaon Block, Lathikata Block of Sundargarh District, Rourkela Municipality, Rourkela Industrial Township area, and Resettlement Colonies of RSP. However, the training programmes are open for all the underprivileged candidates of Sundargarh District and other districts of Odisha State. First and foremost, eligible candidates must appear for the interview on the scheduled date, time and venue as intimated through SMS to their registered mobile number mentioned in the application form. Additionally, this information will also be available on the official website and Notice Board at IGH. It’s important to note that no other correspondence will be made regarding the interview schedule.
SAIL/RSP reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the candidature or the whole process of the training program without assigning any reason thereof. Therefore, it’s important to ensure that you fulfill all the eligibility criteria and provide accurate and truthful information in your application.
On the day of the interview, eligible candidates must bring their downloaded/printed application form submitted online, filled-in declaration form, and document verification form, along with original as well as self-attested photocopies of all required certificates and documents. This includes two recent passport-size colored photographs, all educational certificates, experience certificates (if any), caste/category certificates, residential certificates, Aadhar cards, etc., and a BPL card/ration card/income certificate, if applicable. It’s also important to bring NOC from the present employer if employed in Govt./ PSU/ Autonomous body.
Finally, it’s important to note that no accommodation will be provided to the trainees during their training period. Therefore, it’s essential to make your own arrangements for accommodation.

Step 1: Visit the official website of SAIL.
Step 2: Click on the “Apply for Trainee Advt. no.-Ref. No. PL-M&HS/319, Date: 13/02/2023” link under the “What’s New” section.
Step 3: On the next page, you’ll find two options: “Online Application Form” and “View Filled Form.” Click on option 1, “Online Application form.”
Step 4: Fill in all the required fields in the application form and click on the “Submit” button. After successful submission, an application ID will be generated. Note down the application ID for future reference. Remember, after submission, you won’t be able to make any changes to the application, so submit carefully.
Step 5: After submission, you can view your filled data. Click on the “PRINT” button and take a printout of the following forms:
Step 6: Sign on the above forms wherever required and paste one recent passport-size colored photograph at the appropriate place on the application form.
Step 7: In case you forget to take printouts after submission, repeat steps 1-3 and click on “View Filled Form.” Enter your application ID, and you’ll get the filled form. Take a printout by clicking on the “PRINT” button.
Note: While filling the online application, ensure that you follow all the steps carefully. Incomplete applications or applications that don’t fulfill the eligibility criteria will be rejected. No communication will be entertained in this regard from the applicant.
