Post Name and Vacancy for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

As per the SAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, applications are invited for the post of GDMO and Specialists on a contractual basis. There are 08 vacancies for the given posts in total, 04 vacancies for the GDMO and 04 for Specialists, one for each below-given disciplines:

Blood Bank – 01

Chest Medicine – 01

Pediatrics – 01

Radiology – 01

Age Limit for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

The age of the eligible candidate shall be below 69 years as of the date of advertisement to be eligible to apply for the posts.

Who can apply for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

As per the SAIL Recruitment 2023 notification, the following are eligible to apply for the given posts:

Doctors in the medical discipline who are registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC) or respective statutory/regulatory authorities and have a valid practitioner’s license can apply for engagement.

Doctors having relevant work experience shall be given preference.

The ex-employee of SAIL and other PSUs/Govt. who have been separated by opting for Voluntary Retirement shall not be considered for engagement under this scheme. The ex-employee doctors will have to provide a self-certificate in this regard.

Qualifications for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

The eligible candidates should hold the following qualifications:

For GDMO:

The eligible candidate should hold an MBBS.

For Specialist:

For Blood Bank, the eligible candidate should hold an MD / DNB in Transfusion Medicine.

For Chest Medicine, the eligible candidate should hold an MD / DNB Chest Medicine / DTCD.

For Paediatrics, the eligible candidate should hold an MD / DNB Paediatrics / DCH.

For Radiology, the eligible candidate should hold an MD / DNB Radiology / DMRD.

Pay Scale for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidate will be given the following monthly consolidated remuneration:

For GDMO – MBBS the selected candidate will be paid a consolidated sum of Rs. 90,000 per month.

The selected candidate for the Post of Specialist holding an MBBS with a PG Diploma in the specialty will be paid a consolidated monthly sum of Rs.1,20,000.

The candidate selected for the Post of Specialist holding an MBBS with a PG Degree in the Speciality will be given Rs.1,60,000 per month as salary.

Tenure for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

The initial tenure of contractual engagement of Doctors would be for a period of 01 (one) year from the date of joining, which can be further extended for a period up to 01 (one) year. The maximum period for engagement under the same contract would not be more than three (03) years. There will be no bar on re-engagement. However, the tenure of engagement shall be subject to the upper age limit of 70 years.

Selection Process for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

Selection of the candidates for contractual engagement as GDMO / Specialists will be done through walk-in interviews.

As per the SAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, interested candidates may submit an advance copy of the filled-in application in the prescribed format to [email protected] with the subject line as “ENGAGEMENT OF DOCTORS IN MEDICAL DISCIPLINES ON CONTRACT BASIS AT DSP – 2023”.

The application must be submitted on or before 04.03.2023.

Engagement as GDMO / Specialists will start immediately after the selection of the candidate is completed and orders are issued for engagement as GDMO / Specialists. Candidates responding to the advertisement for “ENGAGEMENT OF DOCTORS IN MEDICAL DISCIPLINES ON CONTRACT BASIS AT DSP – 2023” will have to submit an undertaking in this regard.
