Post Name and Vacancies for SAIL Recruitment 2023: 

According to the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, interested and willing candidates are encouraged to apply for the position of Specialist / GDMO on a contractual basis for its hospitals. There are a total of 06 open positions for the aforementioned position.

Qualification for SAIL Recruitment 2023: 

As given in the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications of the candidates are listed below:

For Specialist (O and G)-

• The candidates should have an MBBS with MS/DNB in O&G from a university/institute recognized by MCI/NMC/NBE.

For GDMO-

• The candidates should have an MBBS from a university/institute recognized by MCI/NMC/NBE. Must have completed internship.

Age Limitation  for SAIL Recruitment 2023: 

In accordance with the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s maximum age limit for the mentioned position should be 69 years. 

Salary for SAIL Recruitment 2023: 

In accordance with the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, the selected applicants for the given position will get a monthly salary of upto Rs. 180000.

For Specialist (O and G)-

• The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 180000.

For GDMO-

• The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 100000.

Tenure for SAIL Recruitment 2023: 

As mentioned in the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s tenure of contractual engagement of Doctors would be for a period of 01 year which can be further extended for a period of 01 year. However, the maximum period for engagement under the same contract would not be more than 03 years. The tenure of engagement shall be subject to the upper age limit of 70 years.

Based on the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, the candidates required relevant documents are listed below:

• Filled-in application Format with one recent passport-size colour photograph.
• Proof of Date of Birth (SSLC / Matriculation Certificate).
• Certificates and Mark sheets of required qualification and Internship Completion Certificate.
• Caste/Category certificate, wherever applicable.
• Valid Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
• Experience Certificate(s) showing relevant post-qualification experience. In the case of retired employees, a Service Certificate issued by the parent organization should be given.
• Photo Identity Proof (Voter ID / Aadhaar Card / Passport / Driving License).
• NOC from present employer, if employed under PSUs/Autonomous Bodies/Govt. Department.
• A Self-Certificate that he/she has not separated due to Resignation within the last 03 years / Voluntary Retirement (applicable for Ex-employees of SAIL and other PSUs/Government).

Selection Procedure for SAIL Recruitment 2023: 

As given in the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s selection will be based on a walk-in interview. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the walk-in interview.

How to Apply for SAIL Recruitment 2023: 

As mentioned in the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, the interested and qualified candidates walk-in interviews will be held at the conference hall, Ispat General Hospital, sector-19, Rourkela – 769005 (Odisha). 

The walk-in interview will be scheduled on 24-11-2023 from 09.30 am to 10.30 am.
