Post Name and Vacancies for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

SAIL, the Steel Authority of India Limited, is in need of suitably qualified physicians, including those who have retired, to serve as contract General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) and Specialists at Bokaro General Hospital (BGH). There are 10 open spots for the aforementioned position, as mentioned in the official SAIL Recruitment 2023 Notification.

Tenure for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

In order to apply for SAIL Recruitment 2023, the tenure period for the above-mentioned posts will be 01 year, or until they are 70 years old, whichever comes first. The Company reserves the right to extend this period of time by another year.

• There would be a maximum engagement length of 03 years under the same contract. Re-engagement will not be prohibited. However, the above-mentioned upper age limit will apply during the engagement period.
• Subject to successful performance, the tenure of the doctor employed in this capacity may be reduced or extended based on an annual evaluation of their work.

Qualification for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the SAIL Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications.

GDMO

• Candidate should have an MBBS degree from a University/ Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India/National Board of Examination/National Medical Commission or State Medical Commission and have a valid practitioner license and be enrolled in the State Register or National Register (as applicable).

Specialists (For BGH, B S City)

• Candidate should have an MBBS degree with a PG Diploma from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI/NBE/NMC or SMC and have a valid practitioner license in respective speciality and enrolled in the State Register or National Register (as applicable).
• Applicant must have an MBBS with MS/DNB from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI/NBE/NMC or SMC and have a valid practitioner license in respective speciality and enrol.

Salary for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official SAIL Recruitment 2023 notification, candidates selected for the GDMO position would receive a monthly salary of between up to Rs. 100000, while those selected for the Specialist position may receive a monthly salary of up to Rs. 160000.

Age Limit for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

The maximum age limit for the designated post shall not exceed 69 years old, as mentioned in the official SAIL Recruitment 2023 Notification. According to this Scheme, a person cannot be hired beyond the age of 70. To carry out their duties, the doctors to be hired need, nevertheless, be medically qualified.

Selection Procedure for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, a medical screening will take place after the interview, and the candidate’s selection will be based on that.

How to Apply for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

Aspirants who meet the above-mentioned criteria, as per the SAIL Recruitment 2023 Notification may appear for a walk-in interview which will be held on 06.11.2023 at Bokaro (Office of the CMO (M&HS), Bokaro General Hospital, Bokaro, Jharkhand-827004) from 10 AM onwards. Registration will start from 9 AM to 2 PM on the same day at the concerned venue. Candidates need to bring all the relevant documents at the time of the interview.
