SBI Clerk Recruitment 2022: Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre in the State Bank of India. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only. Online registration of application and payment of fees is from 07th September 2022 to 27th September 2022.
The preliminary Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of November 2022 and Main Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of December 2022/January 2023. The examination will be as detailed under the Selection procedure (given below).
There are 5008 regular vacancies i.e. (SC: 743, ST: 467, OBC: 1165, EWS: 490, UR: 2143)

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government. Candidates having an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30.11.2022.
Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30.11.2022.
Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.08.2022, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive).
1. SC/ ST/ PwBD/ ESM/DESM: Nil
2. General/ OBC/ EWS: Rs.750
The selection process will consist of an online test (Preliminary & Main exam) and a test of specified opted local language.
Phase I: Preliminary Examination: Online Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Phase II: Main Examination: The structure of the Online Main Exam would be as follows:

Final selection will be subject to
i. Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application.
ii. Qualifying in a test of specified opted local language, as detailed above.
Results of the candidates who have provisionally qualified for selection will be made available on the Bank’s website
The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.29000 per month inclusive of D.A., other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate junior associates. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.
Candidates can apply online and no other mode of application will be accepted.
