SBI Recruitment 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting candidates to fill out the post of Probationary Officers. Selected candidates will be posted anywhere in India. According to the official SBI Recruitment 2025 notification, there are 600 vacancies for the assigned position. Candidate must hold a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Application Fee will be Rs.750 for Unreserved / EWS/ OBC candidates and Nil for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates. The application Fee once paid will
not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
The applicant willing to apply for SBI Recruitment 2025 should not be less than 21 years old and should not be more than 30 years. Selection for Probationary Officers will be done through 3 phases; Phase I – Preliminary Examination, Phase II – Main Examination, and Phase III comprises of Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Personal Interview. The chosen Applicant will get a basic pay of Rs.48480 in the scale of 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The selected candidates, at the time of joining, will have to execute a Bond for a value of 2.00 Lacs ( Two Lacs only) to serve the Bank for a minimum period of three years. Age Relaxation:
Candidates applying for the SBI Recruitment 2025 must have the following qualifications.
In accordance with the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2025, selected candidates will be posted anywhere in India.
As mentioned in the Official notification of SBI Recruitment 2025, the General/EWS/OBC category needs to pay a Non-Refundable Application Fee of Rs.750 and SC/ ST /PwBD candidates need not be required to pay any fees/intimation charges. Application Fee once paid will not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
Based on the official notification SBI Recruitment 2025, selected candidate will get a basic pay of Rs.48480 in the scale of 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility etc. and other allowances and perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
The approximate CTC at initial scale of pay at Mumbai Centre is Rs.18.67 Lacs.
As given in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2025, selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a 3 phases; Phase I – Preliminary Examination, Phase II – Main Examination and Phase III comprises of Psychometric Test, Group Exercise and Personal Interview.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:
Phase-II: Main Examination:
The Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
Phase-III: Comprise of (a)
Psychometric Test:
The Bank will conduct Psychometric test for personality profiling, of those candidates who will be shortlisted for Phase-III. Findings of the test may be placed before the Interview panel for having a thorough perspective on the candidates.
Final Selection:
The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. The marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase-III for preparing the final merit list.
The marks obtained by the candidates in Phase-II (Main Examination both Objective & Descriptive Tests) and Phase-III (Group Exercise & Interview) will be normalized to 100 marks as detailed below.
