SC admits SLP filed by Revenue against the Allahabad HC order quashing S 148 Notice issued after 01.04.2021. The date for the next hearing, in this case, has been set for March 15, 2022. Several High Courts have recently granted judgments in favor of assessees in cases where notices were issued under Section 148 of the Income Tax Act after 01.04.2021 under the old section, i.e. prior to the change by Finance Act, 2021.
