Scammer Busted: Man arrested for posing as IT Officer; Shocking Details Inside! Man arrested for posing as IT Officer: A Man, 24 years old was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly impersonating an Income Tax officer. Ritesh Sharma, a resident of Nai Basti, was detained in the Rawatpur region of the Kalyanpur police circle, according to assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Abhishek Kumar Pandey. He was unemployed, but to hide it from his family, he pretended to be an IT officer. "During a checking drive in Rawatpur, in accordance with the Model Code of Conduct, the police stopped a black car with the Government of India and Income Tax Department printed on it, and the man in the driver's seat claimed to be an IT officer. When questioned about his job profile, his responses were found to be conflicting. The cops then took him into arrest. When questioned, he confessed to posing as an Income Tax Officer to conceal his unemployment from his family," stated ACP. "A fake ID card has also been seized from his possession," police stated, adding that the car recovered from him belonged to his father. "A case under relevant IPC sections was filed against him, and he was sentenced to jail on Wednesday," police added.
