SEBI issues revised formats for Audit Report for issuers of non-convertible securities The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has issued new templates for limited review and audit reports to be submitted by firms that have listed their non-convertible securities. Limited review and audit reports for banks and NBFCs, as well as other organisations, except insurance firms, are now available in redesigned formats. Limited review reports for quarterly standalone financial results for banks and NBFCs, as well as entities other than banks and NBFCs, would be compatible with the formats. Furthermore, all of these organisations would be required to produce audit reports for quarterly standalone as well as annual consolidated financial results. The circular, according to Sebi, will take effect immediately. The circular will also supersede circulars issued in November 2015 and August 2016 with respect to listed firms that have listed non-convertible debt securities and non-convertible redeemable preference shares for the presentation of financial performance.
