Sikkim PSC Recruitment 2023: Sikkim Public Service Commission, Sikkim, has sought Applications from the Candidates meeting Eligibility in reference to the Post of Stockman/ Livestock Assistant on a Temporary Regular basis. As per Sikkim PSC Recruitment 2023, the Post Stockman/Livestock Assistant Positions are to be filled up in the Pay Level-09 of the Pay Matrix in the Sikkim State Subordinate Para Veterinary Service under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department, Government of Sikkim. There are 33 Vacancies to be filled up through Direct Recruitment.

Pay Level-09 of the Pay Matrix in the Sikkim State Subordinate Para Veterinary Service under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department, Government of Sikkim.

Age Limit under Sikkim PSC Recruitment 2023:

Willing Un-Reserved Community Candidates (as on 30.11.2022) should be Minimum of 18 Years and must not exceed (Maximum) 40 Years in terms of Notification No: M(3)/(55)/GEN/DOP/Pt.-III Dated 03.07.2017.

Eligibility for Sikkim PSC Recruitment 2023:

Interested Candidates should fulfill the following Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Passed Intermediate/Class XII (Bio-Science) from any Duly Recognized Board of Education.

Note: Following Selection through a Competitive Examination for Recruitment to the Service, the Candidates shall be put to undergo and successfully pass 01 (One) Year’s Diploma Course in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service (AH&VS) from any Institution duly recognized by the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department.

Other Mandatory Qualifications:

As per the Sikkim PSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Candidates should

i) have knowledge of any of the State’s Regional Dialects/Languages; viz. Nepali, Sikkimese Bhutia, Lepcha, and Limboo.

ii) be conversant with the Customs and Usage of Sikkim State.

Selection Procedure for Sikkim PSC Recruitment 2023:

Selection for the Post of Stockman/Livestock Assistant (on a Temporary Regular Basis) in the State Subordinate Para Veterinary Service under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department shall be conducted through a Competitive Examination.

Sikkim Public Service Commission shall conduct a Competitive Examination (Objective Type and Objective with Conventional nature) for 300 (100+100+100) Marks for Recruitment into the Service. Paper I with 90 Minutes Examination Duration shall be Objective-Type with 100 Multiple Choice Questions for 100 Marks, Main Paper II comprises 02 Parts with 180 Minutes Examination Duration, Section I contain 100 MCQs for 100 Marks and Section II shall have the Conventional Questions for 100 Marks.

The Selected Candidates shall be put to undergo and successfully pass the 01 Year Diploma Course in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service to be awarded any Institution duly recognized by the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Department.
