SJVN Recruitment 2023: SJVN Limited has recently issued a notification inviting applications from professionals with experience in the hydro, solar, and wind power generation sectors. As per SJVN Recruitment 2023 official notification, the positions are purely temporary and on a contract basis for three years initially, with the option of extending the contract for another two years, depending on the performance of the candidate and the work requirement. However, candidates engaged for the positions cannot claim any regular employment in SJVN or any relaxation in case of any requirement for any post in SJVN.
The company is looking for 12, 14, and 24 Field Engineers with Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil specializations, respectively. The minimum post-qualification relevant executive experience required is 6, 10, or 14 years, depending on the position and the specialization. The upper age limit for the positions ranges from 35 to 45 years, depending on the position and the specialization. The candidates must have experience in the Construction/Erection, commissioning, Operation, and maintenance of Hydro/Solar/Wind Power Plants. Out of the total experience required, half of the experience should be with a Minimum 2 MW single Turbine and 20 MW Wind Park/ Project in the case of Wind, Ground Mounted 5MW AC Solar Sark in the case of Solar, and 100 MW in the case of Hydro Projects.
As per SJVN Recruitment 2023 official notification, the compensation package for the positions varies based on the number of years of experience. The fixed remuneration for the positions ranges from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,18,000, which includes the EPF applicable under the statute. The engaged incumbents shall be entitled to 30 days of earned leave in a year, TA/DA for official duties at applicable rates for the lowest level in the executive category, and medical facilities for self and family, as per SJVN’s norms. Full-time regular Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institute in India.
Minimum post qualification relevant executive experience with posts:

10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Solar Power – 4 Posts
6 years of post-qualification executive experience in Solar Power – 4 Posts/ in Wind Power – 3 Posts
Upper age limit: 45 years for 1 post, 36 years for 4 posts, and 35 years for 4 posts.
2. Field Engineer (Mechanical)
Qualification Requirements:
Full-time regular Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute in India.
Minimum post qualification relevant executive experience with posts:
14 years of post-qualification executive experience in Solar Power – 2 Posts
10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Solar Power – 5 Posts
6 years of post-qualification executive experience in Solar Power – 4 Posts/ in Wind Power – 3 Posts
Upper age limit: 45 years for 2 posts, 36 years for 5 posts, and 35 years for 4 posts.
3. Field Engineer (Civil)
Qualification Requirements:
Full-time regular Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute in India.
Minimum post qualification relevant executive experience with posts:
14 years of post-qualification executive experience in Hydro Power – 8 Posts
10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Hydro Power – 8 Posts
6 years of post-qualification executive experience in Hydro Power – 8 Posts
Upper age limit: 45 years for all 24 posts.

As per SJVN Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection process for these posts consists of Personal Interviews which will be held at Corporate Head Quarter, Shimla.
As per SJVN Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates who are interested and eligible for the SJVN recruitment process can apply online through the SJVN website between 07/04/2023 and 28/04/2023. No other means of application will be accepted. Before registering their applications on the website, candidates should possess a valid email ID and mobile number which should remain valid for at least one year. Candidates are also required to have their personal details and educational qualifications as well as a Debit card/Credit card/Internet banking details for the payment of the application fee of Rs. 590/- (Rs. 500/- plus GST@18%) which can be paid online through the recruitment portal.
After applying online, candidates are required to take the printout of the application form and send it along with the payment receipt, experience details (clearly stating executive experience in Solar/Wind power project) and certificates in support of educational/professional qualifications, age, category, experience, etc. to the given address before 19/05/2023. The application fee for General, EWS, and OBC category candidates is Rs. 590/-. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from the application fee.
It is essential for candidates to note that SJVN will not be responsible for the rejection of an application on account of the application being incomplete, non-receipt of application, or any delay in receipt thereof, on any account whatsoever. Applications received after the prescribed closing date will not be entertained under any circumstances, and all such applications will be summarily rejected. Therefore, candidates should ensure that their applications reach the SJVN office on or before the prescribed last date for sending the printout of the application.
