SMPORT Recruitment 2023: The Office of Secretary In-Charge, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India has called in Applications in respect of the Officers meeting Eligibility for the Post Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer (DCVO) On Deputation through the SMPORT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 03.04.2023.
According to the SMPORT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Notified 01 Post to be filled up with Appointment of an Officer into Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer (Dy CVO) Post by Deputation under the Pay Matrix Scale Rs. 32900-58000 (Revised Rs. 80000-220000) under the Kolkata Dock System (KDS) of Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (SMP), Kolkata notified in the SMPORT Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement. Based on the SMPORT Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Cadre Controlling Authority may forward the Applications of the Eligible Officers of Major Port Authorities with Eligibility and Willingness for Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer well in time receivable Before or On 03.05.2023, being the Last Date.
As per the SMPORT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the 03.05.2023 is the Last Date is 18.05.2023 is the Crucial Date for receipt of the Advance Copy of the Eligible Candidate’s Application with all the Documents.

According to the SMPORT Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement the Pay Scale for Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer Post shall be as follows:
Pay Scale: Rs. 32900-58000 (Revised Rs. 80000-220000) By Deputation under the Kolkata Dock System (KDS) of Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (SMP), Kolkata.
As per SMPORT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligibility Criteria to be reckoned shall be 03.05.2023.
Selection of the Candidate Eligible for Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer Post shall be carried through “By Deputation under Kolkata Dock System of SMP Kolkata. Refer to SMPORT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
According to the SMPORT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Cadre Controlling Authority at all Major Ports should forward the Applications of Suitable and Willing Officers, satisfying the provisions of the Recruitment Rules for the Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer Post should apply in the Prescribed Specimen Application Proforma and other Annexures available for downloading and for submission.
Mandatory Documents for Submission with the Candidate’s Application:
Eligible Candidate’s Applications should be annexed with the following:
i) Certified copies of Annual Confidential Reports/Annual Performance Appraisal Reports for the Last 05 Years, duly attested by any Officer not below the Rank of Deputy Head of Department on each Page.
ii) Attested Photocopies of all Certificates towards Proof of Educational Qualification, (including both Present and Past Work Experience in the respective Post and Pay Scale, duly Verified by the Administrative Port while forwarding the Application to this Port.
iii) No Objection Certificate issued by the Competent Authority from the respective Ports.
iv) Applicant’s Undertaking to the effect that in the event of Selection, the Officer’s Individual’s Candidature will not be withdrawn.
v) Administrative Certificate by the Concerned Port (Annexure-ITI).
vi) Vigilance Comments/Clearance Certificate in the Proforma prescribed at (Annexure-IV) in terms of Ministry of Shipping Letter No. A-12022/ 10/2005-PE-I dated 27th August 2010.
vii) Self-Attested Passport-Size Photographs (02 Numbers).
viii) In case any Major/Minor Penalty has been imposed on the Applicant during Last 10 Years, Disciplinary Case resulting in such penalty along with Necessary Documents may be sent by the Forwarding Authority along with Application.
