South East Central Railway Recruitment 2022: The Assistant Personnel Officer for Chairman, Railway Recruitment Cell, South East Central Railway (SECR), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Ministry of Railways (Government of India) has invited Applications from the Candidates fulfilling the Essential Eligibility for the Posts Classical Dance (Odissi) and Classical Dance (Kathak) under the Recruitment Under/Against Cultural Quota in South-East Central Railway for the Year 2022-23.

Modality of Applying: Among the Professionals, those who meet the Eligibility specific to the Posts intending to apply should go through an Indicative Recruitment Advertisement in the 12th to 18th November 2022 Employment News Edition for applying to the Opted Posts as per the Instructions. The Eligible Candidates should apply with the Scanned Particulars with the Documents related to Academic Qualifications, Performation, Achievements, Examination Fee, etc. 2nd December 2022 (02.12.2022) is the Last Date for Online Application by the Candidates.

There are Total 24 Vacancies out of which 09 Vacancies are for Permanent Employment Posts and 15 Vacancies for Fixed-Term Employment respectively.

Selection Procedure: Selection of the Eligible Candidates shall be carried through based on a Written Examination for 50 Marks and Weightage and Allocation of Marks to the Candidate’s Talents Assessment for 35 Marks and Testimonial/Prizes, etc. carrying up to Maximum 15 Marks, Aggregate 100 Marks.

1) Classical Dance (Odissi)

Age Limits (As on 01.01.2023): General Merit Candidate should be Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 30 Years. The Upper Age Limits are Relaxable for Reserved Community Candidates.

Educational Qualification: General Merit Candidates should have passed Intermediate (+2) with Minimum 50% Marks from any duly recognized Board of Education. Ex-Service-Men Candidates and Reserved Community Candidates are Exempted from Marks Percentage. Also those having in possession Higher Qualification(s) Graduation/Post-Graduation are also Exempt from Percentile Marks; Or

Act Apprentices Course Completed/ITI Passed in the Trade duly recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) / Stae Council for Vocational Training (SCVT)

Essential Cultural Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Classical Dance (Odissi) from the Institute duly recognized by the Government of India/State Government.

Desirable: 1)Experience in the Field and Performance given in the All India Radio (AIR), Doordarshan, etc. 2) Prizes won at the National Level.

2) Classical Dance (Kathak)

Age Limits (As on 01.01.2023): General Merit Candidate should be Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 30 Years. The Upper Age Limits are Relaxable for Reserved Community Candidates.

Examination Fee:

i) General Merit Candidate: Rs.500.00 with the Provision of Refunding Rs. 400.00 subject to Candidates appearing in the Written Examination.

ii) Reserved Community Candidates to be refunded up to Rs.250.00 subject to appearing in the Written Examination.
