Southern Railway Recruitment 2023: The Personnel Branch of Southern Railway, headquartered in Chennai, has issued a notification on April 6, 2023, for conducting the General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) to fill up 50% of the net Direct Recruitment Quota vacancies in the category of Stenographer Gr.III (English) in Pay Matrix Level – 4 (Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-) in Southern Railway. Educational Qualification:
12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.
Technical Qualification:
Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute (w.p.m) for a duration of 10 minutes.
Transcription time of 50 minutes.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for UR category candidates is 42 years as of 06.04.2023.
The maximum age limit for OBC category candidates is 45 years as of 06.04.2023.
The maximum age limit for SC/ST category candidates is 47 years as of 06.04.2023.
