SSC CGL 2022 Tier-1 Exam date out: The SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has announced date for SSC CGL 2022 tier 1 examination. The announcement regarding the exam date was made by commission and available on the official website of the commission ssc.nic.in. As per the notification, exam for SSC CGL tier 1 will be held from 1^st December 2022 to 13^th December 2022.

The commission has already released the official notification regarding the expected vacancies of 20,000. The pattern on SSC CGL tier 2 is also revised by the commission. It is advised to the candidates to keep checking the official website of SSC CGL for latest updates regarding examination.

SSC CGL exam dates:

The commission has released the notification of tier 1 examination on its official website. According to that, exam of SSC CGL Tier 1 will be conducted from 01^st December to 13^th December 2022. The admit card for the same will be released before 2 weeks of examination.

Exam pattern of SSC CGL 2022:

Staff selection commission have revised the exam pattern for SSC CGL. The exam will be conducted in 2 stages, Tier-1 and Tier-2. Tier-1 is compulsory for every candidate appearing for SSC CGL. In Tier-2 there will be 3 papers, Paper-1, Paper-2, and Paper-3. Paper-1 is compulsory for everyone. Paper-2 is for those candidates who have applied for junior statistical officer (JSO) in the ministry of statistics and program implementation and paper-3 is for candidates who have applied for the post of assistant audit officer/ Assistant Accounts officer.

SSC CGL Tier-1 exam:

SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will be conducted online in 4 sections with 100 MCQ’s in total and with maximum marks of 200. The time period of completing the exam is 60 minutes. SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will be qualifying in nature and marks will not be count in final selection. 0.50 negative marking for each wrong answer and 2 marks for each right answer.

The sections asked in SSC CGL Tier-I Exam are:

1. General Intelligence & Reasoning- 25 question with total marks of 50
2. General Awareness- 25 question with total marks of 50
3. Quantitative Aptitude- 25 question with total marks of 50
4. English Comprehension- 25 question with total marks of 50

SSC CGL Tier- 2 exam.

• The SSC CGL tier 2 shall be also held in the computer-based test mode.
• The examination is going to be having three papers, papers 1, 2, and 3. The paper 1 is going to be compulsory for all the posts. However, paper 2 and will be for the Junior Statistical Officer Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer respectively.
• As per the marking scheme, 3 marks shall be awarded for each correct answer marked in the exam.

SSC CGL Preparation tips and strategy:

Candidates who are going to appear the SSC CGL should follow the strategy in the preparation period. Mention below are some of the preparation tips and strategy.

• Syllabus of SSC CGL is first thing to take care of. Make sure that nothing is left from the syllabus, All the chapter should be covered before the time. You should download the syllabus and mark the important chapter
• Previous paper of SSC CGL is next thing. You should go through the previous paper of SSC CGL to get a knowledge about the questions asked in the exam. It also helps in the preparation of examination.
• Current affairs and General awareness, it is advisable to stick to at least 2 resources for CA and General awareness. Usually, question asked in this section is asked from last six month of national and international current affairs.
• Attempt SSC CGL mock test on regular basis. It helps in covering the exam pattern as well as estimated time.
