Salary for Staff Selection Commission Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of Staff Selection Commission Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be given a monthly salary as mentioned below-

• The selected candidate for the post of Accounts Officer will be paid a monthly salary in Level 7 of the pay matrix (Rs.44900-142400).
• The selected candidate for the post of Accountant will be paid a monthly salary in Level 6 of the pay matrix (Rs.35400-112400).

For Accounts Officer-

Officers under the Central Government-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• With two years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.6500-10500 (pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department. OR
• With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.5500-9000 (pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. And

Possessing the following qualifications and experience-

• The candidates pass the Subordinate Accounts Services or equivalent examination conducted by the Accounts Departments of the Central Government. OR
• The candidates must possess Successful completion of training in the Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM) or equivalent. And
• The candidates must have Five years of experience in Cash, Accounts and Budget work. [Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years].

For Accountant-

• Assistants of Central Secretariat Service (now re-designated as Assistant Section Officer) with 5 years of service in the grade or with 10 years combined service in the grade of Assistant/UDC or Upper Division Clerks of CSCS with 10 years’ service in the grade, who have undergone training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent and possess 3 years experience of cash, Accounts and budget work.
• Failing (i) above, Officer under the Central Govt. holding analogous posts; or, SAS. Accountants or SAS passed Clerks from any of the Organised Accounts Departments.

Tenure for Staff Selection Commission Recruitment 2023:

The engagement is made on a deputation basis and the selected candidates for Staff Selection Commission Recruitment 2023 will be employed for a period of 03 years.
