TNPSC Recruitment 2023 for 1083 Vacancies, Check Posts, Eligibility and How to Apply
TNPSC Recruitment 2023: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has sought Online Applications from the Candidates Eligible for 05 Posts, 1) Overseer/Junior Draughting Officer, 2) Junior Draughting Officer, 3) Junior Draughting Officer, 4) Draughtsman Grade-III and 5) Foreman Grade-II] for Direct Recruitment included in the Combined Engineering Subordinate Services Examination. As notified vide the TNPSC Recruitment 2023, there are total 1083 Vacancies under Pay Scale Level 11 & Pay Scale Level 08 respectively.
Those Candidates, who are Eligible for the Posts and are Willing to be Applicants for the same may complete the Online Registration and Application Process. As per the TNPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Last Date for the Candidates to complete both Online Registration and Online Application Process is 4th March 2023 (04.03.2023).
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission shall conduct a Combined Engineering Subordinate Services Examination (CESSE) 2023 in the Forenoon-Noon and Afternoon-Evening Sessions on 27th May 2023.

Detailed Qualifications and Experience specific to the Posts are explained in the TNPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification available here to be read by the Candidates:
Educational Qualification: The Candidates should have Diploma in the Concerned Branch in reference to all the Posts.
Experience: In the case of 4th Post, the Candidate should have Minimum 03 Years’ Experience in Civil Engineering.
Desirable: All Applicants should have adequate knowledge in Tamil.
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission shall conduct on 27th May 2023 a Combined Engineering Subordinate Services Examination (CESSE) 2023 in 02 Shifts (the Forenoon-Noon and Afternoon-Evening Sessions). The TNPSC notified Combined Engineering Subordinate Services Examination 2023 shall consist of 02 Papers for 450 (300+150) Marks. Each Paper shall span 03-Hours’ Examination Duration.
The Un-Reserved Examinees shall have to obtain Minimum Qualifying 180 Marks and Reserved Community Candidates have to score Minimum Qualifying 135 Marks in order to be considered Eligible for Selection 2023 notified in the TNPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
The Candidates secured Only Marks in Paper-I and Part-B of Paper-II will be considered for Ranking/Selection.
Selection on all the Posts will be carried out by Single Stage on the Marks obtained by the Candidates in the Written Examination subject to the Rule of Reservation of Appointments.
The TN Public Service Commission shall announce a Tentative List comprising Eligible Candidates for Certificate Verification (CV) on the TNPSC Website. After verification of the Original certificates, the Eligible Candidates will be summoned for Final Selection through Counselling Method.
The Applicant who fails to appear in any of the Subjects in the CESSE shall not be considered for Selection, even though having scored the Minimum Qualifying Marks for Selection.
1. First, Selection for the Posts will be carried out for the Backlog Vacancies/ Carried forward.
2. Secondly, Selection for the Posts will be conducted for Regular Vacancies following the Rule of Reservation of Appointments.
As per the TNPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Candidates should remit Fee Online cited hereunder:
i) Fee For One Time Registration: Rs. 150 (Rupees One Hundred Fifty) only
ii) Examination Fee: Rs. 100 (Rupees One Hundred) only
Note: Note: Applicants who have already registered in One Time Online Registration System and within the Validity Period of 05 years are Exempted.
