Top 6 Mutual Funds With Over 10% CAGR Return in Last 10 Years
While selecting a mutual fund, taking the historical performance into consideration is highly crucial, though it never guarantees future performance. Some mutual funds in India have been persistently providing good returns, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of over 10% over the past ten years. Such mutual funds have provided investors with long-term growth and have become a popular choice for creating wealth.
One of them is the HDFC Large Cap Fund, with a 10-year CAGR of 12%. It is a high-risk fund with a Net Asset Value (NAV) of Rs. 1,140.46 as of 11 Feb 2025. It has an AUM of Rs. 7,57,067.19 crore, an expense ratio of 1.01%, and an exit load of 1% if redeemed within less than one year. Operated by Rahul Baijal and Dhruv Muchhal, it provides an annual interest rate of 6.5% for a year. The SBI Bluechip Fund has given a 12.12% return over the last 10 years and is considered a very high-risk investment.
Its current value per unit (NAV) is Rs. 93.40, and the total money managed by the fund (AUM) is Rs. 11,06,904.48 crore. The fund levies a 0.82% fee on investment management (expense ratio) and a 1% fee if the funds are withdrawn within a year. It is operated by Saurabh Pant and Pradeep Kesavan and offers a one-year annual interest rate of 10.4%. Another top-performing fund is the Mirae Asset Large Cap Fund, which has provided a 10-year CAGR of 12.58%. Its NAV on 11th February 2025 is Rs. 115.13, and its AUM is Rs. 1,81,758.25 crore. The fund is managed by Gaurav Mishra, with an expense ratio of 0.49% and an exit load of 1% in the event of redemption within less than one year. The fund provides an annual interest rate of 9.8%.
The Canara Robeco Bluechip Equity Fund has returned 12.87% over 10 years and is a very high-risk fund.
Its NAV is Rs. 66.59, and AUM is Rs. 1,09,319.80 crore.
It has an expense ratio of 0.51% and an exit load of 1% on redemptions made in one year. Its managers are Vishal Mishra and Shridatta Bhandwaldar. Investors can earn a 12.8% rate of interest per annum for one year.
Among the top-performing funds, the ICICI Prudential Bluechip Fund has a 10-year CAGR of 13.21%. It has an NAV of Rs. 110.08 and an AUM of Rs. 7,81,394.30 crore. The fund charges an expense ratio of 0.91% and levies an exit load of 1% if redeemed within a year. It is handled by Anish Tawakley, Vaibhav Dusad, and Sharmila D’mello and provides an annual interest rate of 9% for a period of one year.
Finally, the Nippon India Large Cap Fund has provided a 10-year CAGR of 13.23%, which is among the best performers. Its NAV stands at Rs.90.54, and its AUM is Rs. 5,13,159.79 crore. Its expense ratio is 0.71%, and it has an exit load of 1% in the event of redemptions up to seven days. Sailesh Raj Bhan and Bhavik Dave manage it, and it earns an interest rate of 9.2% per annum on a one-year maturity. These funds have registered steady returns over the past ten years and are thus a favorite among long-term investors. People should, however, evaluate their financial goals, risk appetite, and investment horizon before investing and selecting a fund that is appropriate for their needs.
