TS PGECET 2023 Registration Closes Today: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will end the registration process for the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test, also famously known as TS PGECET, 2023, today on 5th May 2023. Interested and eligible candidates should apply fast for the PGECET 2023 by visiting the official website of the TSCHE, as there may be no further extension of the registration date without a late fee. Candidates can apply until today without a late fee. The TS PGECET 2023 is being conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of the TSCHE. Candidates can apply for this common entrance test through online mode only.
The TS PGECET application fee is Rs 1100 for candidates belonging to unreserved categories and the application fee for candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories is Rs 600. The TS PGECET is conducted every year for admission into various postgraduate courses in engineering, technology, and pharmacy across different educational institutions in the state of Telangana. It is a state-level postgraduate examination. The TS PGECET 2023 will be organized from 29th May to 1st June 2023 in different shifts.
Candidates will also be given the chance to apply beyond 5th May with a late fee. Candidates will be able to apply for the TS PGECET 2023 up to 10th May with a late fee of Rs 250. Students can apply up to 15th May 2023 with a late fee of Rs 1000 and until 24th May 2023 with a late fee of Rs 2500. Late fees will be applicable for candidates from all categories. Candidates will be allowed to edit their application form from 12th May 2023 to 14th May 2023. The admit cards for the TS PGECET 2023 will be made available on the official website on 21st May 2023.
The JNTUH, on behalf of the TSCHE, has released the eligibility criteria to appear for the entrance exam in various courses. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria of that particular course in order to attempt the entrance exam in that particular course. The detailed eligibility criteria for the TS PGECET 2023 are listed below:
M.Tech.: Candidates should have studied any of the following courses from a recognized University – BTech (Civil Engineering), BPlanning, BTech (Planning), BArch, AIIA, MA / MSc, (Sociology/Economics/Geography) or have a qualified GATE AND The candidate should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh
M.Pharma.: Students must have studied BPharma from a recognized University or have qualified GPAT AND The student should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh
M.Arch.: Candidates should have studied any of the following courses from a recognized University – BArch/AIIA (in the respective stream) or have qualified GATE AND The candidate should have a domicile in the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh
The TSCHE will conduct the TS PGECET 2023 on various days and in various shifts for different disciplines. The TS PGECET 2023 will be organized from 29th May to 1st June 2023. The examination will be held in two shifts, morning and afternoon. The morning shift exam will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon and the evening session exam will be organized from 2 pm to 4 pm. The examination will be held in online mode, i.e., a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam’s question paper will have objective-type questions (MCQs). Step 2: Click on the link Application Fee Payment and pay the application fee (1st step of registration) by entering the required details
Step 3: After fee payment, fill out the application form
Step 4: Upload the relevant documents in the prescribed format and click on final submission
