UKPSC Recruitment 2023: The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC), Haridwar has called in Online Applications from the Candidates Eligible for Group ‘B’ Civil Judge Post in the Judicial Department, Uttarakhand notified vide the UKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
According to the UKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 16 Vacancies to be filled up through the Uttarakhand Judicial Service Civil Judge Examination-2023. Uttarakhand State Civil Judge in the Judicial Department. The Civil Judge under Group ‘B’ with 16 Vacancies to be filled up are Permanent under the Pay Scale Level J-1 (Rs.77840-136520) Per Month under the UKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification issued.
As per the UKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, Eligible Candidates with Willingness may complete the Online Application Process latest by the Closing Date 21st March 2023 (21.03.2023) notified in the UKPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

As notified by the UKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Candidates post-Selection on the Civil Judge Post shall remain entitled to the following Pay Scale
Pay Scale Level: J-1 (Rs.77840-136520) (Amended by Government Order 292/XXXVI-A-1/2022 &261/2022 Dated 08.09.2022)
According to the UKPSC Recruitment 2023, the Un-Reserved Category Applicant as on 01.01.2023 should be aged as follows:
I) General Merit: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 35 Years.
II) Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits in the case of Reserved Category Candidates are explained in the UKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for the purpose.
Based on the UKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Eligible Candidates should have in possession the following Eligibility comprising Educational Qualification and Other Criteria expressed hereunder:
Essential Educational Qualifications:
The Candidate
I) should have in possession a Bachelor’s Degree in Law/Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.) from any Accredited University established by Law in Uttarakhand or by other University of India by the Governor Duly Recognized for this purpose.
II) must have Thorough knowledge of Hindi in Devanagri Script.
III) have the Basic Knowledge of Computer Operation.
Selection for Civil Judge Posts in Judicial Department shall be carried through based on the Merit determined with taking into consideration the Combined Marks obtained in the Main Examination and Viva-voce/Personality Test.
The Selection Criteria for Civil Judge in Judicial Department consists of 03 Stages as follows:
Stage 1: OMR Answer Sheet Based Preliminary Examination with 02-Hours’ Span consisting of 02 Parts; i.e., Part-I General Knowledge for 50 Marks and Part II Based on Legal/Law for 150 Marks
Stage 2: Main (Conventional) Examination comprising 06 Papers; as follows:
01) Paper I: Present Day: 150 Marks
02) Paper II: Language: 100 Marks
03) Paper-I: Law Paper (Substantive Law): 200 Marks
04) Paper-II: Law Paper: (Evidence and Procedure) 200 Marks
05) Paper III: Law Paper: Revenue and Criminal: 200 Marks
06) Paper IV: Basic Computer Operation Knowledge Practical Examination: 100 Marks
Stage 3: Viva voce: 100 Marks
Based on the UKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, remittance of the Examination Fee through any of the Payment Gateways; viz., Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI Payment should be as follows:
I) Un-Reserved Category: Total Rs. 172.30 (Application Fee: Rs.150 Plus Processing Fee with Tax: Rs. 22.30)
II) EWS Category: Total Rs. 172.30 (Application Fee: Rs.150 Plus Processing Fee with Tax: Rs. 22.30)
III) OBC Category: Total Rs. 172.30 (Application Fee: Rs.150 Plus Processing Fee with Tax: Rs. 22.30)
IV) SCs/STs: Total Rs. 82.30 (Application Fee: Rs.60 Plus Processing Fee with Tax: Rs. 22.30)
