UP Police Recruitment 2022: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) shall likely release toward the end of October 2022 a Detailed Police Recruitment Advertisement in respect of filling 2430 Vacancies; viz., 120 Posts of Workshop Staff, 1374 Posts of Assistant Operators and 936 Posts of Head Operators/Principal Operators by through Direct Recruitment Process under Uttar Pradesh Police Radio Cadre-2022. There are 2430 Vacancies for the Posts in toto.

Note: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board shall issue a Detailed Advertisement thereby notifying Online Recruitment Application (ORA)  Process. The Candidates keen to apply for Direct Recruitment for the Posts of 01) Workshop Staff; 02) Assistant Operator and 03) Principal Operator/Head Operator may be able to commence the Online Recruitment Application Process once ORA Link is activated.

Selection Process: UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board shall conduct Selection to the Notified Posts of Workshop Staff, Assistant Operator and Principal Operator / Head Operator through the Direct Recruitment consisting of 1) Written Examination (OMR Answer Sheet-Based/Computer-Based Recruitment Test) with 150 Minutes’ (1½ Hour) Exam Duration comprising 400 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for Maximum 400 Marks; 2) Preparation of Merit List; 3) Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST); 4) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and 5) Preparation of Final Merit List.

Educational Qualification: 03-Years’ Diploma (Electronics/Telecommunication/Electrical/Computer Science/Information Technology/Mechanical Engineering) from any duly recognized Board Or Institution established by Law of the Central Government/State Government.

Preferential Qualification: The Candidate should have the Following Qualifications

01) Possess ‘O’ Level Certificate issued by the Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) (Presently National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology-NIELIT);

02) have rendered 02-Years’ Service in the Territorial Army;

03) have obtained National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘B’ Certificate

Physical Standard Measurement:

Male : Height: a) General / Backward Class/Scheduled Caste: 168 Cm; b) STs: 160 Cm.

Chest:

a) General/Backward Class/Scheduled Caste: 79 Cm (Unexpanded) and 84 Cm (Expanded);

b) STs: 77 Cm (Unexpanded) and 82 Cm (Expanded).

Female: Height: a) General / Backward Class/Scheduled Caste: 152 Cm; b) STs: 147 Cm.

Weight: 40 Kgs.

Selection Methodology: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board shall conduct a Single Paper Written Examination as follows:

Exam Duration: 150 Minutes: Objective-Type Written Examination (OMR Answer Sheet Based/Computer-Based Recruitment Test);

400 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for Aggregate 400 Marks. (+01 Mark for Each Correct Response and Negative Marking)

Section I: General Hindi: 100 Objective Type MCQs = 100 Marks

Section II: Science/General Knowledge: 100 Objective Type MCQs = 100 Marks

Section III: Numerical and Mental Ability Test: 100 Objective Type MCQs = 100 Marks

Section IV: Mental Aptitude Test/Intelligence Quotient Logical or Reasoning Test: 100 Objective Type MCQs = 100 Marks

Notified Posts Selection Posts comprise 05 Stages as mentioned hereunder:

Stage 1: Written Examination (Computer-Based Recruitment Test or OMR Answer Sheet Based) for Shortlisting Process

Stage 2: Document Verification prior to Selection

Stage 3: Selection and Final Merit List for Final Selection

Stage 4: Medical Examination, Mandatory for Physical Fitness

Stage 5: Character and Antecedent Verification part and parcel of the Selection Process
