UPPSC Recruitment 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has sought Online Applications from Experienced and Qualified Candidates meeting Eligibility in reference to 05 Posts including Principal, Technical Officer, Assistant Drilling Engineering and Regional Prohibition and Social Uplift Officer. As has been mentioned in the UPPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, Post-specific Educational Qualifications, Preferential Qualifications among other things are as follows:
Post No 01: Post Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned Discipline from any Accredited University.
Desirable: Good Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script subject to
Provided that preference will be given to the Candidates, who possess one or more of the following Qualifications:
i) Master’s/Higher Degree in Economics or Sociology or Social Welfare
ii) Any Accredited Degree/Diploma in Social Service, Applied Sociology, Social Science, Social Technique, Social Work/Social Service Administration
iii) Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.)
iv) Practical Experience of Prohibition and Social Uplift
Post 02: Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned Discipline with Qualified GATE from any Accredited University.
i) Master’s/Higher Degree in the relevant Subject;
ii) Any Accredited Degree/Diploma in Social Service, Applied Sociology, Social Science, Social Technique, Social Work or Social Service Administration;
Post 03: Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned Discipline with Qualified GATE from any Accredited University.
Post 04: Academic Qualification: 05-Years’ Degree in Ayurveda/05-Years’ Degree from the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh/any other State Board or Faculty, registrable under the United Provinces Indian Medicine Act 1939 from any Accredited University.
12-Years’ Teaching Experience (10-Years’ only in case of a Post-Graduate) including Minimum 05-Years’ Administrative Experience as a Professor or as Head of the Department.
3) Working knowledge of Hindi, English and Sanskrit.
Preferential Qualification:
i) Post Graduate Qualification from any Accredited Institution.
ii) Research Work and Publication of Original Papers and Books
Post 05: Academic Qualification: Post Graduate Qualification in Homoeopathy and holding a Post of Minimum Teaching Cadre of Professors in a Degree Level Homoeopathic College for Minimum 02 Years. The qualification shall be the one included in the Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act 1973.
Desirable Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Administrative/Health Administration from any Accredited Institution.
Experience as Supervisor/Guide for Post Graduate Programmed in Homoeopathy and Original Publication in Research
12-Years’ Teaching Experience (10-Years’ only in case of a Post-Graduate) including Minimum 05-Years’ Administrative Experience as Professor or as Head of the Department.
3) Working knowledge of Hindi, English and Sanskrit.
Preferential Qualification:
i) Post Graduate Qualification from any Accredited Institution.
ii) Research Work and Publication of Original Papers and Books
Other Preferential Qualifications:
Any Candidate who has
a) rendered Service in the Territorial Army for Minimum 02 Years’ Period
b) obtained a “B” Certificate of National Cadet Corps, shall, other things being Equal, shall be given Preference in the the case of Direct Recruitment.

For 1st to 3rd Posts:
i) The Un-Reserved Category Candidate should be Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 40 Years.

Based on the UPPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, Selection on the Technical Officer Post shall be carried through explained hereunder:
The Recruitment for the Post of Technical Officer shall be conducted by the UP Public Service Commission based on the Marks given on the basis of the Score obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in the concerned Branch/Subject as mentioned in the Academic Qualification and Total Marks in Interview decided by the UP Public Service Commission.
Selection on Assistant Drilling Engineer Post mandates the Preferential Qualification explained in the UPPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
