UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Government of India has invited Applications in the Prescribed Proforma from the Candidates Eligible for 02 Posts 01) Library & Information Assistant (LIA) (Level I) and 02) Library Clerk (Lib Clk) (Level II) with 03 (01+02) Vacancies on Contractual Bases in the Office through the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Circular released on 11.05.2023.
According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice issued, those Intending among the Individuals Eligible for the Posts I) Library & Information Assistant (Level I) and 02) Library Clerk (Level II) with 01 Vacancy each may apply as per the Specimen Application Proforma within 20 Days from publication in the Newspaper.

01) Library & Information Assistant (Level I): 01 Vacancy
02) Library Clerk (Level II): 02 Vacancies
The UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Circular has occurred with Fixed Monthly Remunerations mentioned hereunder:
01) Library & Information Assistant (Level I): Rs.29000
02) Library Clerk (Level II): Rs.22000
According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligibility comprising Educational Qualifications with Desirable Qualifications is as follows:
01) Library & Information Assistant (Level I): Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science/Library and Information Science from any Duly Recognized University/Institute with 02 Years’ Professional Experience in any Library under the Central under Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration/Accredited Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Government/Autonomous/Statutory Organizations or Public Sector Undertaking or Universities or Recognized Research or Educational Institution.
Desirable Qualification: Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) from any Duly Recognized University/ Institute
02) Library Clerk (Level II):
i) 12th (Intermediate) Passed or Equivalent Qualification from any Duly Recognized Board.
ii) Certificate in Library Science/Equivalent from any Duly Recognized Institute.
iii) Proficiency in Computer-Based Typewriting with 35/30 Words Per Minute in English/Hindi.
Desirable:
i) 01-Year’s Experience of working in any Library of Repute.
ii) Working Computer Application Knowledge in Day-to-day functioning of the Library.
