UPSSSC Recruitment 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has invited Online Applications from the PET 2022 Qualified Candidates for Main Examination 2023 to be held for filling up the Vacancies of the Village Development Officer (VDO)/Gram Panchayat Adhikari (GPA) against 1468 Vacancies in Panchayati Raj Department (PRD), Uttar Pradesh.
The Last Date for the Candidates to mail their respective Applications shall terminate on 18.01.2023 as may be read in the UPSSSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
The Candidates Qualified in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2022 may start off the Online Application Process in reference to the VDO Main Examination 2023 from 23.05.2023 to 12.06.2023. Online Registration shall commence from 23.05.2023 for UPSSSC Recruitment 2023. As per UPSSSC Recruitment 2023 official notification the Last Date for completing the Online Application Process is 12.06.2023. Online Examination Fee Remittance with Adjustment may be completed up to 19.06.2023.
Based on the UPSSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 1468 Vacancies to be filled up through UPSSSC VDO PET Examination 2023:

According to the UPSSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limit (As on 01.07.2023) for the Un-Reserved Category is as follows:
Age Limit:
i) General Merit Candidates should be Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 40 Years.
ii) Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits under Reserved Community.
Essential Educational Qualifications: The Candidate should have passed 12th Pass/Intermediate from any Duly Recognized University established by Law of the Central Government/State Government.
Desirable: The Candidate should have Computer-Based Hindi Typewriting Speed at 30 Words Per Minute with the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT)/The Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Classes (DOEACC) issued CCC Certificate in possession.
Preferential: The Candidate must have
i) rendered 02 Years’ Service in the Territorial Army.
ii) obtained National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘B’ Certificate.
The Selection Process for UPSSSC Notified Post Village Development Officer consists of 02 Stages 01) (PET) and 02) Main Examination, as follows:
Selection to the Post Junior Assistants shall be based on the Merit drawn by reckoning the Candidates’ obtained Marks in the Combined Main Examination 2022-23 and Weightage Criteria for Academic Qualifications; i.e., Intermediate, Graduation International/National/State/University or College Level.
The Candidates may remit the Payment through the Payment Gateway (Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, RuPay, UPI) on the SBI Premises.
Online Processing Charges (OPC): Rs.25.00 only for General Merit and also Reserved Community Candidates.
