Essential Qualification:
Educational: Must have obtained Certificate or Diploma in Dental Health.
Desirable: Should have been Registered with State Dental Council, Uttar Pradesh
Preferential Qualification: The Candidate must have
i) rendered Service for 02 Years in the Territorial Army
ii) obtained a ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) among other things being Equal
The Selection Process for Dental Hygienist (General/Special) Cadre shall be carried out in the order of Merit drawn up based on Higher Marks than the Minimum Qualifying Marks obtained in the Main Examination and Interview and Documents Certification among others.
The Selection for Dental Hygienist shall be conducted in accordance with the U.P. Dental Hygienist and Dental Mechanic Service Rules 1993.
The Selection Committee shall prepare a Common List of the Candidates in order of their Proficiency as disclosed by the Marks obtained by each Candidate in the interview.
TIE Resolving Case: If Two or More Candidates obtained equal marks, the Selection Committee shall arrange their names in the Order of Merit on the basis of their General suitability for the Service. The number of names in the List shall be larger (but not larger by more than 25%) than the number of Vacancies. The Selection Committee shall forward the list to the appending Authority.
