WhatsApp joins hands with Razorpay and PayU to start Credit Card Payment Service in India
WhatsApp announced on Wednesday that it will begin accepting credit card payments through its app in India. WhatsApp will accept credit card payments through digital payment providers. In India, WhatsApp has over 50 million users. Regulators, however, have restricted the in-app WhatsApp Pay service to only 100 million people.
WhatsApp, the social media messaging platform, announced the launch of several new services on Wednesday to improve users' chat experiences. WhatsApp has partnered with Razorpay and PayU to offer credit-debit card, UPI, and other payment options to its users.
Direct chat will make shopping easier after that. According to a blog update, WhatsApp users in India will be able to add items to their cart and make payments using all UPI apps, debit cards, and credit cards beginning Wednesday.
WhatsApp introduced Flow service
Aside from payments, WhatsApp has also introduced the Flow service for its users. You will be able to use this service to select a train seat, order food, and book an appointment without leaving the chat window. This service will begin in the coming weeks. Aside from that, Meta Verified for various businesses has been launched in WhatsApp.About Author
