When UP Police Re Exam Date Will be Announced
UP Police Constable Re Exam 2024: The date of the UP Police Constable examination was postponed in February due to a paper leak, and many candidates have been pleading with the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) to release new date. This is the third time the recruitment board has issued a similar clarification, this time stating that the UP Police Constable exam date announcement doing the rounds on social media is not real.
The UP Police Constable examination was held in two sessions on 17th February and 18th February: first from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and second from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The board sought to fill 60,244 positions for male and female police constables in the Uttar Pradesh police force through this recruitment.
Following the leak of the UP RO and ARO test papers, social media was inundated with reports of the UP Constable paper leak. The police had detained or arrested about 244 persons for allegedly plotting to use dishonest exam practices, although the board first rejected the accusations.
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, declared on the 24th of February that the UP Police Constable recruitment exam 2024 would not be held. A re-exam is scheduled for the next six months.
The state government just released the schedule for the UP recruitment exams for 2024–2025. Consequently, on 22nd December, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will conduct a re examination for the post of review officer and assistant review officer (UP RO/ARO). After claims of paper leaks surfaced, the exam that was scheduled for 12th February to fill 411 positions was cancelled.

According to the fictitious notice that went viral on social media, “written examination will be held in 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh on 10.08.2024 (Saturday) and 11.08.2024 (Sunday) in two shifts each (10:00 am to 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm), as per the release of even number dated 23.12.2023 for direct recruitment to the posts of Civil Police Reserve in Uttar Pradesh Police.”
“Five months have passed since the UP Police recruitment exam was cancelled,” a candidate wrote on X. CM Yogi Baba had stated that the exam would be held again in six months notwithstanding its cancellation. Up till now, the youth who are waiting have not received any information.
Another X user listed the amount of exam paper leaks as follows: “Paper leaks for UPSC (RO/ARO) Pre, BPSC TRE 3.0, UP Police Constable, UGC NET, and NEET PG have caused postponements.” KPSC KAS has been postponed, as has APPSC Group 2 Services Main. Even though there are leaks of papers, daily postponements of exams, and jokes about the future of Young India, Modi brags before the Parliament about keeping his promise to tolerate corruption to the letter. His only true zero-tolerance policies are against questions posed to him and democratic responsibility for his deeds.
