14th & 15th Dec 18 appointed as dates for 2 Polling Booths at Hyderabad : ICAI Elections 2018 THE INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd December, 2018 (Chartered Accountants) No. 54-EL(1)/14/2018.Whereas vide Notification No. 54-EL(1)/2/2018 dated 6th September, 2018, 7th and 8th December, 2018 were notified as the date or dates of polling for select cities/towns including Hyderabad and 8th December, 2018 for other cities/towns. And whereas, due to the announcement of 7th December, 2018 as the date for forthcoming general election to the Legislative Assembly of State of Telangana, which is coinciding with the date of election to the Twenty Fourth Council and Twenty Third Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in Southern India Regional Constituency and in particular due to clash of venue for general election and our election and non-availability of suitable alternative venue for Polling Booths in Hyderabad for our elections, the said elections could not be held on 7th December, 2018 in the polling booths set up in Hyderabad. Keeping in view these compelling reasons which has affected logistical arrangements for election and conduction of polling on the notified dates in Hyderabad, the polling at the following polling booths have been postponed:

Now therefore, in view of above and in exercise of powers conferred on me under sub-rule (3) of rule 4 of the Chartered Accountants (Election to the Council) Rules, 2006, it is hereby notified for general information of the candidates for election to the Council from Southern India Regional Constituency and Southern India Regional Council and the affected voters that 14th and 15th December, 2018 have been appointed as the fresh dates for polling for Polling Booths No. S061 to S068 at Hyderabad as mentioned in the aforesaid table.
