Delhi Govt reduces VAT to 19.40%, petrol would be Rs 8 cheaper per litre
The Arvind Kejriwal-led ministry has decided to reduce the VAT on petrol from 30 percent to 19.40 percent, lowering the price of petrol in Delhi by Rs 8.
The new prices will go into effect on December 2, according to ANI.

According to a PTI report, the decision to decrease VAT was made at a cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
When the VAT reduction goes into effect, the price of petrol in Delhi would fall from Rs 103 per litre to Rs 95 per litre.
