ICAI President addressed Members over the issue of Parliamentary Committee Report for Setting Up of IIAs

ICAI President addressed ICAI Members on Friday over the issue of Parliamentary Committee Report for Setting up of IIA’s similar to IIT and IIM for Accounting & Finance Profession.

ICAI President CA. (Dr.) Debashis Mitra said during his address that many of you are concerned about the contents of the Report. The Council is seized of the Matter and an impact analysis is being carried out. ICAI President further said please rest assured that your council will leave no stone unturned to maintain the Quality Autonomy of the Institute.

The Institue will do Everything Possible to ensure that the self-respect of the profession is not dented and our commitment to excellence independence and integrity continues. Every Challenge will be converted into an opportunity and will provide us the strength to live up to your expectations and that of the Nation.

The Council will leave no stone unturned to maintain the quality and autonomy of ICAI.
