CBDT Released Utility for Filing Returns in Form ITR-1 to ITR-4

The Central Board of Direct Taxes [CBDT] has released Utility for Filing Returns in Form ITR-1 to ITR-4 on 4th April 2022 for Financial Year 2021-22 [Assessment Year 2022-23].

Very Recently Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has notified new income tax return forms SAHAJ ITR-1, ITR-2, ITR-3, SUGAM ITR- 4, ITR-5, ITR-6, ITR-V, and ITR- Ack, for the Financial Year 2021-22 [Assessment Year 2022-23], the ministry of finance said in a release on 1 April 2022.

Below are details of ITR Forms and the Date of Release of JSON Utility. Updated

ITR-1_Schema_AY 2022-23 V1.0

For individuals being a resident (other than not ordinarily resident) having total income upto Rs.50 lakh, having Income from Salaries, one house property, other sources (Interest etc.), and agricultural income upto Rs.5 thousand.

ITR-2_Schema_AY 2022-23 V1.0

For Individuals and HUFs not having income from profits and gains of business or profession

Date of first release of JSON Schema04-Apr-2022

ITR-3_Schema_AY 2022-23 V1.0_0

For individuals and HUFs having income from profits and gains of business or profession

Date of first release of JSON Schema04-Apr-2022

ITR-4_Schema_AY 2022_23 V1.0

For Individuals, HUFs and Firms (other than LLP) being a resident having total income upto Rs.50 lakh and having income from business and profession which is computed under sections 44AD, 44ADA or 44AE and agricultural income upto Rs.5 thousand.
