Selection Methodology for Officers in Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager):

The Selection Methodology for the Post Officers in Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) consists of 03 Phases and conclusively on the Final Merit. Phase I consists of 02 Papers with each Paper carrying Maximum of 100 Marks, Aggregating 200 Marks. Likewise, Phase II consists of 02 Papers with each Paper carrying Maximum of 100 Marks, Aggregating 200 Marks. Phase III Personal Interview.

Online Examination (Phase I) Examination Scheme:

Examination Duration: 01 Hour for 1st Paper and 40 Minutes Each for 2nd Paper Paper I: 80 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions + Paper II: 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type

Total Marks: 200 (100+100) Marks

Marking: +01 Mark for Each Correct Response Negative (-) ¼ (0.25) for each Wrong Answer

Online Examination (Phase II) Examination Scheme:

Examination Duration: 01 Hour for 1st Paper and 40 Minutes for 2nd Paper Paper I: Descriptive Type 03 Questions
Paper II: Total 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type General Stream + Specialised Subject-related 50 + 50 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions)

Total Marks:  200 (100+100+100) Marks

Marking: +01 Mark for Each Correct Response;  Negative (-) ¼ (0.25) for each Wrong Answer

Merit List Preparation Criteria: The Candidates’ Marks obtained in Phase II Online (Objective + Descriptive) Examination will be allotted a Weightage of 85%, while the Marks obtained in Phase III Interview (Hindi or English) will be allotted a Weightage of 15%.

1. General Stream: Master’s Degree in any Discipline or Legum Baccalaureus Bachelor in Legal Laws or Bachelor of Engineering from any Duly Recognized University.

2. Finance & Accounts: Bachelor Degree (Graduation) from any Duly Recognized University.

3. Information Technology: Bachelor in Engineering. Or Master in Computer Applications (MCA) or Bachelor Degree in any Discipline with a Minimum 02-Years’ Post-Graduate Qualification in Computers/Information Technology.

Minimum Experience: Post-Qualification 02-Years’ Experience in the Information Technology Domain.

4. Research (Economics): Master’s Degree in the related Subject

5. Legal: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from any Duly Recognized University or Institute.

6. Official Language (Rajbhasha): Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level or Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/ English/ Economics/Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level from any Duly Recognized University Or Institute.

Qualification: Actuarial

Completion Level: Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI).

And Pass or Exemption in all Seven (07) ‘Core Principles’ Subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) Examination.
