IPPB: First Floating Financial Literacy Camp in India by Indian Post Payment Bank (IPPB)
Recently The First floating financial literacy camp was organized by India Post Payments Bank (IPPB).
What is the Floating Financial Literacy Camp:
The first floating financial literacy camp in India was held as part of the “Niveshak Didi” initiative’s inauguration in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
Around Srinagar’s renowned Dal Lake, it was conducted among local locals.
From a Shikara, a distinctive wooden boat seen on Dal Lake and other bodies of water in Srinagar, Niveshak Didi conducted the financial literacy class in the indigenous Kashmiri language.
About “Niveshak Didi” initiative:
The “by the women, for the women” philosophy is the foundation of the “Niveshak Didi” programme. According to this theory, women in rural areas feel more at ease asking other women questions.
The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), which is overseen by the Union Corporate Affairs Ministry, and IPPB worked together to develop it.
Three “Niveshak Didi” leaders from the Kashmir Valley received certificates as part of this project at the most recent IEPFA Conference in Srinagar.
