TNPSC Recruitment 2022: Pay Level Rs 205700 Check Post, Qualification and How to Apply

TNPSC Recruitment 2022: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has sought Applications from Candidates meeting the Eligibility in reference to the Post of Assistant Professor of Psychology-cum-Clinical Psychologist under Tamil Nadu Medical Service (TNMS).

Among the Eligible Candidates, those who intend to apply in respect of the Recruitment into the Assistant Professor of Psychology-cum-Clinical Psychologist Post may apply Online. 14th December 2022 (14.12.2022) is the Last Date for receipt of the duly completed Applications with Scanned Testimonials and Fee-Sum from the Candidates as mentioned in Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Recruitment Notification 202.

There are 24 Vacancies including 09 Carried Forward to be filled against the Recruitment to be conducted under Tamil Nadu Medical Service.

Selection Procedure:

Selection to Assistant Professor of Psychology-cum-Clinical Psychologist Post will be carried through 02 Stages, a Computer-Based Recruitment Test and Personal Interview and Document (Record) Verification. The Computer-Based Recruitment Test to be administered in 02 Papers shall carry Maximum 450 (Paper I: 300 + Paper 2: 150 Marks) and Personal Interview and Records for Maximum 60 Marks

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will conduct on 14th March 2023 (14.03.2023) a Computer-Based Test consisting of 02 Papers in Fore-Noon Session (FNS) and After-Noon-Session (ANS). Paper-I  (Subject Paper) Psychology shall have Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions (of Post- Graduate Degree Standard) for Maximum 300 Marks and Paper II (comprising 02 Parts) Part-A Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard) and Part B General Studies (Degree Standard) carrying Maximum 150 Marks.

TNPSC CBRT Scheme: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission shall conduct at various District-wise Examination Centers a Single Stage OMR Answer Sheet Based Objective-Type Written Test. The Single Stage OMR Answer Sheet Based Test (with 03-Hours’ Examination Duration for each Paper) consists of 02 Papers for Aggregate 450 Marks (Paper-I for 300 Marks + Paper II: Part A & Part B for 150 Marks) explained hereunder:

Single Stage Examination Pattern:
The Multiple Choice Questions in Paper I and Part–B of Paper II TN Public Service Commission will set both Bilingual (Tamil and English).

Exam Duration: 03 Hours for 1st Paper. 1½ Hours Each for 2nd Paper with 02 Parts; Aggregate 450 Marks (Paper I: 300 Marks & Paper II comprising Part A and Part II: 150 Marks)

The Applicant should have in possession i) A Post-Graduate (M.A.) Degree of  or Bachelor’s Degree [B.A. (Hons)] or B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology or Post-Graduate Diploma or Degree in Clinical Psychology or a Diploma in Clinical Psychology; And

ii) A Post-Graduate Diploma in Medical and Social Psychology of the All India Institute of Mental Health (AIMH), Bangalore or Diploma in Medical and Social Psychology Part II of the Bangalore University or any other duly recognised University.

Pay Scale: Level-22: Rs.56100 to Rs.205700

Fee Amount: 

For General Merit Candidates:

1) One-Time Registration Fee (OTRF) with 05-Years’ Validity Rs.150.00

(Note: Those Candidates already registered in One-Time Online Registration System (OTORS) and are within 05-Years’ validity are Exempted)

2) Examination Fee: Rs.200.00

Reserved Community Candidates remain Exempt from Payment of the Fee.
