Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023: The Independent Recruiting Office, Delhi Cantonment, New Delhi has invited Online Applications from Un-Married Young Male Gender Candidates Eligible for Recruitment for Selection Test for Agniveer Intake for the Recruitment Year 2023-24 under the Agnipath Scheme under the Agnipath Scheme of the Indian Army’s Agniveer Recruitment 2023 in 05 (Five) Branches. As is mentioned in the Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023 Notification, Young Persons with Residence in the Districts of the Union Territory of Delhi and the Districts Faridabad, Gurugram, Palwal, Mewat (Nuh) Haryana State are Eligible to apply Online.

Based on the Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Un-married Candidates for Selection Test for Agniveer Intake for the Recruitment Year 2023-24 under the Agnipath Scheme, the Last Date for completing the Online Registration is 15th March 2023 (15.03.2023).

Age Limits for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023:

As per the the Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Applicant should be aged as follows:

Minimum 17½ Years and Maximum 21 Years

Note: Candidate should be have born between 01.10.2002 and 01.04.2006 (Both Dates Inclusive)

Physical Standards:

Height:

i) For 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Branch (All Arms): 170 Cm

ii) For 3rd Branch Agniveer (Clerk/Store-keeper Technical)(All Arms): 162 Cm

Chest: Minimum (Un-expanded): 77 Cm and Maximum (Expanded) 82 Cms (with 05 Cm Expansion)

Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per the Army Medical Standard in this Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023 Notification.

Special Physical Standards:

Height: 157 Cm/163 Cm/162 Cm applicable to the Category-wise Persons.

Chest: Minimum (Un-expanded): 77 Cm and Maximum (Expanded) 82 Cms (with 05 Cm Expansion)

Weight: 48 Kg.

Eligibility for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023

1) Agniveer (General Duty)(All Arms):

Class 10th/Matriculation Pass with 45% Marks in aggregate and 33% in each Subject. For Boards following Grading System, Minimum ‘D’ Grade (33%-40%) in Individual Subjects/ Grades with 33% in Industrial Subjects and Overall Aggregate of ‘C2’ Grade/Equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.

Note: Preference will be given to the Candidates with Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License for Driver Requirements.

2) Agniveer (Technical)(All Arms):

Intermediate (10+2) Examination Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with Minimum 50% Marks in aggregate and 40% in each Subject. Or

Intermediate (10+2) Examination Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English from any recognized State Education Board/Central Education Board to Including the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Course of Minimum 01 (One) Year with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) Level 4 or above in the relevant field. Or

Matriculation (10th) Pass with 50% in Aggregate and Minimum 40% in English, Mathematics and Science with 02-Years of Technical Training from the ITI Or 02/03 Years’ Diploma in the Streams mentioned in detail in this Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023 Notification issued.

3) Agniveer (Clerk/Store-keeper Technical)(All Arms):

10+2 (Intermediate) Examination Pass in any stream (Arts/Commerce/Science) with 60% Marks in Aggregate and Minimum 50% in each Subject. Securing 50% in English and Mathematics/Accounts/Book-keeping in Class XII is Mandatory.

4) Agniveer (Tradesmen 10th Pass) (All Arms):

a) Matriculation/Class 10th (Simple) Pass with No Requirement in Aggregate Percentage but should have scored 33% in each Subject.

5) Agniveer (Tradesmen 8th Pass)(All Arms):

Class 8th (Simple) Pass with No Requirement in Aggregate Percentage but should have scored 33% in each Subject.

Selection Criteria under Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023:

Selection Criteria under Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023 is Given Below:

The Selection Criteria for the Candidates in different Branches shall be as follows:

1) Agniveer (General Duty): Total 145 Marks (including 20 Marks) for Sportsmen

2) Agniveer Clerk/Store-Keeper/Technical:

i) Total 150 Marks (including up to 20 Plus 15 Marks Plus up to 50 Marks) for Sportsmen and NCC ‘A’/’B’/’C’ Certificate and NCC C’ Certificate with Participation in the Republic Day Parade.

ii) Total 135 Marks (including 50 Plus 15 Marks) for Sportsmen and NCC ‘A’/’B’/’C’ Certificate and NCC C’ Certificate with Participation in the Republic Day Parade and Clerk/Store-Keeper Category having ‘O’ Level (IT) Course Certificate issued by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) and having higher Level IT Courses Certificate issued by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology.

iii) Bonus Marks for ITI/Skill Qualified Candidates with 10th and 12th Plus Course with Minimum 20 Marks up to Maximum 50 Marks.

3) Agniveer (Tradesmen): Total 145 Marks (inluding 20 Marks) for Sportsmen

Terms and Conditions under Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023: The Indian Army Agniveer will be enrolled in the Indian Army under the Indian Army Act 1950 for 04-Years’ Period. Agniveer would form a Distinct Rank in the Indian Army, different from any other
existing Ranks.

The Agniveer On completion of 04-Years Service, based on the Organization’s Requirements and Policies promulgated by the Indian army, Agniveer will be offered an Opportunity to apply for Permanent Enrolment in the Indian Army. These Applications will be considered in a centralized manner on the basis of the Objective Criteria including Agniveer’s Performances during their 04-Years’ Engagement period and up to 25% of each specific Batch of Agniveer would be enrolled in Regular Cadre of the Indian Army. Agniveer’s Selection for further Enrolment into the Indian Army shall be at the discretion of the Indian Army.

Rs 250 (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty) Plus Plus (Applicable) Bank Charges per Applicant is to be paid by the Candidate for the Online Examination.

The Application Fee shall have to be directed to the SBI Portal through a Link on the Website. The Application Fee payment should be remitted through any of the Payment Gateway Facility Maestro/Master Card/VISA/ RuPay Cards/Both Credit and Debit Cards of all Major Banks.
