MPSC Recruitment 2023: The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has called in Online Applications from the Candidates Eligible for Recruitment to the Post Sericulture Development Officer, State Sericulture Service, Grade-I, Group-B in the Directorate of Sericulture, Maharashtra State Government in accordance with the MPSC Recruitment Notification having been issued for the purpose.
As notified in the MPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement 009/2023 there are 03 vacancies to be filled up with Appointment of Suitable Candidates on the Posts Sericulture Development Officer in the in the Directorate of Sericulture under Pay Scale S-21 (Rs 41800-132300).
Based on the MPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, Online Application Process is well in progress. Therefore, the Eligible Persons with Willingness for the same may apply Online. The Last Date for the Eligible Candidates with Interest to complete the Online Application Process is 20th March 2023 (20.03.2023).
The Last Date for remittance of the Examination Fee and Online Application/Registration shall end on 20th March 2023 (20.03.2023).
The Prescribed Last Date for taking a Copy of Challan in case the Examination Fee to be paid by Challan in the State Bank of India is 22nd March 2023 (22.03.2023).
The Last Date for Payment of the Examination Fee in the State Bank of India in the case of Payment of Examination Fee in/by Currency is 23rd March 2023 (23.03.2023).

As notified in the MPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Candidates post-Selection as Sericulture Development Officer would be entitled to the Pay Scale Level as follows:
Pay Scale Level: S-15 (Rs.41800 – 132300) Plus Other Admissible Allowances
Based on the MPSC Recruitment 2023, Un-Reserved Category Candidates under different Posts should be aged as on 01.06.2023 as follows:
Minimum 19 Years and Maximum 38 Years
Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates is described as per the Government of India Norms in the MPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Agriculture/Sericulture/Biology/Zoology/Botany/Textile Engineering) in 1st Class.
Experience:
i) Minimum 03-Years’ Post-Qualification Practical Experience in Agriculture/Sericulture/Biology/Zoology/Botany/Textile Engineering gained in any Industry/Government Office/Public Sector Undertaking/Statutory Authority or Corporation established by the Government.
Desirable: Adequate Knowledge of Marathi Dialect
Sericulture Development Officer Experience
According to the MPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification for Group ‘B’ Post, Selection to on Sericulture Development Officer Post shall be as explained hereunder:
Selection on Sericulture Development Officer Post shall be carried through based on the Educational Qualification/or Experience, Higher Qualification/Experience and Written Test with the Interview yielding Merit.

The Examination Fee to be remitted/paid by the Candidates shall be as follows:
i) Un-Reserved Category: Rs. 719 (Rupees Seven Hundred and Nineteen) only
ii) Un-Reserved Category: Rs. 449 (Rupees Four Hundred and Forty-Nine) only
